Linden View
Description
Linden View is a contemporary, three-bedroom home nestled in the rural heart of Combe Martin, Devon.
Enjoying sea views and a countryside setting, well-positioned near the beach and a host of local amenities, Linden View also features a stylish, well-equipped interior, making it a perfect choice for a luxury escape.
Travel up to the property, beyond the owner’s pretty gardens, spanning over 1-acre of land, before taking in your new, tranquil surroundings, looking out towards the Devonshire coastline.
Step indoors and be wowed by the open-plan living space, with its bright interior, fully-integrated kitchen, dedicated dining area, and plenty of plush seating to sink into; use this space as your social hub, before throwing open the bi-fold doors, pouring a glass of chilled wine, and stepping onto the decked area, a haven for alfresco dining and hosting.
As the sun sets, select between three well-appointed bedrooms, starting with a king-size on the ground floor, complete with a wall-mounted TV and a sleek en-suite bathroom; upstairs you will locate a further king-size, also featuring a TV and en-suite, enjoying elevated, sea views, and a twin, complete with two sofa beds.
Completing the home is a handy utility, where you can store your wet gear, and a cloakroom for convenience.
Start your morning with a stroll around the beautiful gardens, annually visited by RHS Rosemoor, before heading into the town, where you can explore its history at Combe Martin Museum, discover a range of outdoor activities, with stunning coastal trails on offer down to the beach, and the chance to dine and shop locally, with a selection of amenities upon your doorstep.
No visit to the area would be complete without heading to Ilfracombe, a charming seaside resort with a plethora of local attractions; take a stroll along the pier, with a bag of fish and chips in hand, or visit the famous Tunnels Beaches.
Venture to Woolacombe and discover it's three miles of golden sandy beach, a haven for watersports, including paddleboarding, also with plenty of great places to eat, shop, and relax, or for a bit of retail therapy, pop over to Barnstaple, a bustling town centre with a bustling high street to tour.
Travel a little further to Croyde, nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its sweeping shoreline and lofty sand dunes, where you can also visit the popular Beach Cafe Downend for refreshments, before following the coastal path around to Saunton or Putsborough, for further sea vistas.

A lovely spacious property in tiptop condition with a wonderful view over the bay.
And to cap it all it’s located in a magnificent private garden which is a delight in itself. A couple of sidelights wouldn’t go amiss in the living area but that’s a trivial comment in what was a most wonderful week based at Linden View. We will most definitely return when next in North Devon.
An immaculate high-spec property set in a peaceful plot with a fantastic view of Combe Martin bay.
Jenny made us feel very welcome and was very unintrusive during our stay. The property is well placed to explore the Devon coast and the surrounding countryside.
What an amazing place!
possibly one of the best cottages we have rented for a holiday. The house is stunning throughout and has everything you could ever need. All modern appliances should you need them. House is nestled on a hill overlooking the town of Coombe Martin. The view from the house is fantastic and I personally sat outside every night to watch the sunset over the sea, a view I will never forget! We were there at the time of the solar eclipse and the lady who owns the house and lives next door came and left us the special glasses required to view. A very nice touch from her. She was lovely too, and her dog Nutmeg who would just wonder into the house in the morning to say hello! I can highly recommend a stay here and I would love to visit again. Only thing to note is the road to the house. Its steep but its more the turn off from the main road that is not easy to see at first as its between two buildings and is single car width for a few bends. We never met another car in fairness. Don't let this put you off though. House has a private drive and is gated for peace of mind. Book it, you wont be disappointed! North Devon is stunning.
