We were very impressed with the standards of cleanliness, the tasteful decor, the beautiful setting.

All our needs were well catered for. I couldn’t fault it and would happily return.

The most well equipped property we have ever stayed in.

Everything thought of. Very peaceful location and great for stargazing - nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy the hot tub in the evening. Private and Ruth your host will leave you to your own devices if you wish but is on hand to respond to any queries you may have promptly. Was a great property for the price and clearly Ruth puts pride into ensuring that everything is thought of. Very impressive use of Tuppaware around the property. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely break at Culver Court Cottage.

It was spotlessly clean and much bigger than we were expecting, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Ruth the owner left us a beautiful hamper of local treats. The Aga made the kitchen lovely and cosy. It has a lovely private outside area and very peaceful surroundings. We would not hesitate to return to this gorgeous cottage.

So peaceful and tranquil, we had the best time. The garden is perfect for our large dog and it felt safe and secure. Just across the road is a fantastic walk that we enjoyed morning and evening where we saw deer, foxes and rabbits. The owner has thought of everything and was amazing at answering any questions quickly. 100% we would return, it really is beautiful and very homely.

We all totally loved this cottage and holiday-my daughter (10) cried as she didn’t want to leave and we had such a nice time.

Lovely and clean spacious we everything we needed-the hosts have thought of everything. Really warm snuggly house and we loved it as soon as we opened the front door. Nestled down a quiet country lane beautiful views to open farmland and woods and all you can hear is birdsong. Hot tub was great for us and the kids. Really well equipped kitchen. The host Ruth was lovely and very helpful, even brought freshly baked hot cross buns from her son which was lovely. We will be back I’m sure..

The cottage is in a lovely location less than 10 minutes drive from crediton so shops were close by but still completely quiet as a getaway from normal city life.

Cooking with the Aga was a great experience and knowing the kitchen would be warm and cosy it was the first place to go to after nice dog walks. The hot tub was very good and monitored. We stayed over Christmas and our host contacted us about if we wanted some decorations put up which was really nice and there was an amazing welcome basket of local treats. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived and the last morning was very hard to leave. Thanks for a wonderful stay and fingers crossed we will be back if the cottage isn’t already fully booked up.

A lovely cottage with all the amenities.

There was some lovely touches left by the owner. It could do with some light outside a when we came home in the dark we struggled to find our way down the steps and also when using the hot tub there was no outside lights.

A really spacious, comfortable and well thought out holiday cottage; and although it was November our greyhound loved the garden and adjoining well-fenced paddock.

I haven’t been in a better-equipped kitchen, to which owner Ruth and her pasty chef son had added a very generous welcome package of food. There is a lovely walk up into some woods from the hamlet and it was very convenient for Crediton and Dartmoor. I loved the good old china included alongside the practical modern plates, and similar touches throughout. We expect to return to the area and would certainly book this again if we could.

Myself, sister & my dog came to Culver Cottage in Sept for a much needed break.

The cottage is perfect in every way. The photos dont do it justice. Its much bigger than you think. You have everything you need, nothing has been missed. Having en suites in each bedroom were perfect. We wanted to move in and never leave. Nice garden for doggos to explore, safe & secure. One tiny issue which I solved was the Cockerel, he woke me the first morning and my dog had no idea what it was, and kept barking at 6am. Solved it by closing the window and putting a fan on (supplied). Worked a treat. Hot tub was perfect, my sister used it every day. Beautiful places to visit nearby. Like most places in the West Country lanes are super narrow. So we did a lot of reversing back down lanes for a passing place. But its part of the experience. We were greeted with milk, home made scones, pastries and croissants. Omg, they were just amazing. Luckily for me, my sister is vegan so I scoffed the lot. Thank you to the owners son (pastry chef) for making such delicious food. Ruth is extremely helpful and friendly. She lives in the house next door. We did meet as she drove by, lovely lady. Otherwise, we were left to our own devices and you never knew she was there. My sister dropped her earring down one of the en suite sinks on our last day. Ruth tried to retrieve it with no luck. But wonderful woman called her plumber and sent it to her in the post. Amazing customer service. Don't hesitate to book, its a gem of a property, you'll love it. Can't wait to return. 10/10

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet location has everything you need and more, including very comfy beds, we took our 18 month old granddaughter and everything was there, high chair , wooden cot with bedding, stair gate, games jigsaws dvd’s for older children.

Great for our two dogs, secure garden, dog bed and treats provided, and our welcome pack was amazing, a special thank you to the chef for the pastries to die for, every detail has been thought out, we had a wonderful stay, would stay again without hesitation. Thank you so much to wonderful hosts

Absolutely amazing place to stay.

The host was very helpful and has thought of everything needed in the house. Extremely well decorated and the standard of beds etc were top notch. I would highly recommend renting this property and we will be going back.

It was a lovely quiet setting with everything you could need.

It was very comfortable a real home from home. The BBQ and hot tub were added bonuses. We had an amazing stay and would certainly stay again. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

This is a lovely property and even on a hot day the lounge and main bedroom were cool.

The garden setting was great and not overlooked, plenty of space for a large dog to roam. The roads to the property were narrow lanes with passing places and no pavements for walking but is was quiet and relaxing and the hot tub was great too.

Perfect holiday cottage, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Comfortable beds. Very clean. The furnitures are all of a very high standard, so was the kitchen. The only downside were the extremely loud roosters who woke us every morning from 3.30 on. Other than that, everything was perfect and beyond our expectations!
