4 Barton Cottages

Property had everything we needed.

Nicely decorated, well equipped & comfortable. We didn’t use the outside space due to the weather. Would stay there again if in the area.

Cottage was lovely and clean, everything we needed for a perfect week away.

As the nights were getting cooler the cottage was lovely and warm, parking was never a problem the wine and Devon fudge was very much appreciated so a big thank you to all concerned Yours Fred & Trix.

Lovely cosy little cottage, clean comfortable and homely. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Close to shops, pub and within walking distance of a great dog friendly beach. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely comfortable cottage that matched our needs perfectly.

Having a toddler, it would have been good to have a stairgate, but understand that this would not be required for most people. Only issue we had was with the boiler failing on the day before we where due to depart but the owner was very responsive and fortunately had no bearing on the holidays enjoyment. The cottage only has one dedicated parking space (not 2 as advised), but there was plenty of space on the side of the road. Overall, stay was very good and Down Thomas is a great location. Thanks.

Wonderful homely cottage, had everything we needed and was clean and cosy.

The host was very helpful when contacted to advise of late arrival.

Cottage is lovely and in a great location with access to great walks and pubs, plus easy access to the city.

The only minor niggle was the parking when the neighbour parked too far over and I could barely get my car in and no room to open the doors.

Property was warm and comfortable. Everything was of a good quality and it felt very homely. Had a lovely meal at the village pub which is just a few minutes walk away.

The cottage was beautifully presented, the furnishings and contents were of the highest standard.

I had a lovely break coming up from Cornwall to see a distant relative and a very old friend in a nursing home. My only wish was that Devon did the same as Cornwall for dogs, with access to beaches from the end of August.

4 Barton Cottages is a lovely cottage, well laid out with everything we needed.

Even double duvets on the single beds. The location is excellent, with a nice rural feel despite being so close to Plymouth. We booked a short last minute break to extend out holiday as we were in the area and the previous week's weather was not very good. The 3 days we booked had excellent weather. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in a beautiful cosy cottage, village where it is located is lovely with a good pub, very quiet and peaceful area within walking distance of the coast, lounge could do with a slight rearrangement as tv at funny angle but not real a big issue, beds lovely and comfortable.
