Mabel's View
Description
Mabel's View is positioned just outside the sleepy village of East Allington.
This single-storey holiday property is attached to the owners home and enjoys a tranquil setting, welcoming families, couples and their canine companions for a relaxing break in the heart of the South Hams district of South Devon.
Enter into the open-plan living area and make yourself at home on the sofa, before switching on the TV and kicking back for the evening.
Cross the threshold into the kitchen, where you can conjure up something tasty with assistance from the electric oven and ceramic hob, before gathering at the dining table and toasting to a much-needed escape.
Spend balmy evenings on the garden patio, settled at the picnic bench whilst your pooch roams the lawn.
Before calling it a day, freshen up in the shower room and then find your way to either of the double bedrooms.
Choose Mabel’s View for a relaxing escape to the South of Devon.

What guests are saying
Good location for us and a great view from the window.
Mabel the dog is very friendly if you let her in, no obligation. Jon welcomed us and left some great goodies.. intend to re-visit sometime
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the arrival touch goodies was lovely Mabel came around and enjoyed her fuss the kitchen was perfectly adequate I have seen a few dissing it but unless you’re cooking a banquet for ten or more plenty of room fantastic shower bed very comfortable and plenty of room
We enjoyed Mabel’s view, the surrounding countryside and Mabel herself !
! Generally, the cottage was smaller than we thought it would be. Kitchen area very tight and workspace small even with the hob cover in place. Cushions outside and parasol would have been nice, particularly in the v warm weather. The patio area could have been tidier and weeds were very much in abundance . Although not essential, a washing machine would have been useful for a two week stay. The two sofas were uncomfortable and difficult to relax upon. On a plus note, the small bathroom was well appointed, and shower excellent. John was very helpful although a change of bedding wasn’t on offer. Thanks to John for nice ‘goodies’, and we thought the world of Mabel. Parking was good.
