Oak Barn
Description
This inviting detached property sits in a private, secluded setting on the outskirts of Kentisbeare, Devon.
Benefitting from an enclosed garden, a well-presented interior and off-road parking, Oak Barn invites families of four and their canine companions for a country stay in Devon.
After a day of exploring the local area, kick off your walking boots and get comfortable in the living space, housing all a television, sofa and gas effect woodburner.
French doors lead out to the picnic bench where you can enjoy lunch when the sun is shining.
Move into the kitchen, well-equipped for all your home-cooking essentials, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, whilst the adjacent dining room is set up for mealtimes together.
Head upstairs and enjoy some ‘me time’ in the family bathroom before retreating to the bedrooms to catch your rest, offering a king-size and a twin, both finished in neutral tones.
Within a mile there are two pubs, The Wyndham Arms and Keepers Cottage Inn, both excellent choices for a meal out, while there is an excellent farm shop a little further and offers a great range of local produce.
For further amenities, the historic town of Cullompton is nearby and boasts an award-winning farmers market, an assortment of shops, restaurants and cafés and some beautiful churches.
Cullompton is also the gateway to the outstanding scenery of the Culm Valley, much of which falls within the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a real haven for walkers and your pooch will certainly enjoy it!
Take off further afield and discover Exeter, where you can admire the cathedral and Northernhay Garden or get your fix of retail therapy.
Choose Oak Barn and uncover the delights of Mid and South Devon.

What guests are saying
Spacious, well equipped, clean and tidy property.
The safe and secure garden is ideal for the dog.
Really nice property.
Clean and well maintained with everything we needed. Great setting, very quiet down a country lane with walks from the doorstep. Good base to explore the surrounding area.
The accommodation was average.
The most annoying thing was the creaking floors, doors, beds. There was no information leaflets about the property itself. Re heating, tv, cooker wi fi etc. The sofas were very comfortable and the bathrooms were good. Also the garden was adequate.
