The property

Williton 2 miles and 1 mile away from Williton steam railway station.

This light and airy first floor apartment is situated within an imposing period farmhouse, two miles from the village of Williton between the stunning Quantock Hills, Exmoor National Park and the beautiful Somerset coast.

Set within landscaped gardens and next door to a garden nursery, this apartment is a tempting treat for garden lovers who are looking for a peaceful rural haven with far-reaching views across the shrub-filled borders to the Quantocks beyond.

Reached by an external staircase, this first floor Somerset apartment is full of character, boasting exposed beams and pine doors and offering a cosy sitting area and a separate kitchen/diner, along with a comfortable double bedroom and a bathroom.

There are plenty of opportunities for walkers and garden lovers here, due to the Coleridge Way being close by, plus breathtaking views can be seen from the West Somerset Coast Path, and there many open gardens overlooking the sea with tea rooms serving delicious cream teas.

The Somerset coast is only two miles away where there's plenty to see and do.

Fossil hunting can be enjoyed at Kilve, and visits to the pretty harbour and beach at Watchet and the intriguing historical village of Dunster near Minehead are a must.

A stay in this apartment will ensure a peaceful and relaxing break.

About the location

Watchet 2 miles; Minehead 8 miles.

The thriving community of Williton nestles beneath the western edge of the Quantock Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, only 2 miles from the west Somerset coast at Watchet. Intersected by the roads to Minehead and Bridgwater, the village is well served by local shops and pubs, with the attractive West Somerset Railway also passing through, providing a lovely relaxing trip along the coast from the popular seaside resort of Minehead through glorious unspoilt countryside - a treat not to be missed! Within a short drive is Exmoor National Park with its heather-clad moorland, wooded coombes and picturesque villages, home to an abundance of wildlife, or take in the pretty coastal settlements of Watchet, Blue Anchor and Porlock Weir. A visit to the historic village of Dunster, with its yarn market and ancient castle, is also a must. There is so much on offer in this super area for all the family.
