we had a very peaceful and restful time at Bunts Barn, and found it to be an ideal base from which to explore the area

Bunts Barn exceeded our high expectations.

Spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped. Great location too with easy access to moors, coast, good pubs and supermarkets.

Bunts Barn is a gorgeuous "hideaway".

Yes ir's very remote, but if thats what you like (we do) you cannot go wrong. Clive & Lyn (didn't actually meet her) are very personable and were on the end of the phone (or a walk across the yard) should one needed anything. The cottage is very warm and accomodating. Very clean and the furniture etc excellent. A tele in both bedrooms, as well as a large one in the sitting room, three loos and the whole place very very spacious. The kitchen would benefit from having things like table spoons, and some basins - had to use BIG dishes when smaller would have sufficed. Everytging is of top quality. The diownside for me was the lack of a welcome pack. Having driven several hundred miles, a cup of tea is called for, but not even a single teabag. We have stayed in many many cottages over the last 20 or so years and this is the first one which didn't supply a few basics, like (as I said) tea, ,ilk, bread and so on.) It did not detract from the overal ambience but made it a bit more of a bother when we were both so very very tired We are in our 80's - did we expect too much?
