Absolutely beautiful .

.had a fabulous time everything there we needed and so clean .hot tub was amazing the kids loved it and well done to the owners for making it feel like a home ..will definitely return and first visit to teigmouth beach ..overall amazing holiday so thank you so much

Gloccamaura is a wonderful property with everything you need to enjoy the perfect holiday.

All the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped and the garden is beautiful - perfect for our family and dogs. We loved the hot tub too. Due to the extremely hot weather Jo and Max had put fans everywhere, which was very thoughtful and helped keep us cool. The location made it very easy to visit many lovely places in the area - Dartmouth, Teignmouth and Shaldon were some of our favourites. We can't recommend this house highly enough and we look forward to returning. Thank you so much x

We had a lovely few days at Gloccamaura.

Chalet is just perfect, plenty of space & a fully enclosed garden for children or dogs. Hot tub is a bonus! Very clean and has everything you need. No air conditioning but plenty of fans & water coolers to keep us cool in the heatwave. A beautiful quiet getaway which we will hopefully come back to sometime.

Our stay at Gloccamaura was comfortable, very enjoyable & a perfect location for a family wedding.

We were blessed with perfect weather so enjoyed the hot tub with theywelcome bottle of fizz

A lovely property, in a beautiful location.

Well stocked with all mod cons. Hot tub was lovely. Looked clean on the surface but some areas did need a deep clean, didn’t put us off though!

Excellent property, well maintained, lots of activities in surrounding area, the property is in a lovely quiet woodland area, and very secure for toddlers, which makes it ideal for family and friends getaways, An absolute gem!

Fabulous property- lovely, peaceful location- perfect for relaxing in the hot tub but close to lots of places to visit and lots of walks close by.

Gloccamaura was very well equipped and had a great open plan living/ dining/ kitchen area- perfect for families and friends to get together. Max and Jo are great hosts. We have stayed here several times and will definitely be back again soon.

My family and I had a lovely holiday here to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday.

She really enjoyed the stay and the chalet was very suitable as it is all on one level and she had her own en-suite bathroom. The chalet is a really good size, was very clean and tidy and very private. Lovely landscaping and the hot tub was a real bonus. Great location with lots of Devon’s attraction within easy reach. Sadly we didn’t meet the owners but communication with them was very easy and they provided lots of useful tips. Would definitely recommend.

Gloccamaura is an absolute gem.

The hosts Jo and Max are lovely people. We had an issue with the gas for the Bbq on our first night. Max was straight on it and went to the local supplier to get another bottle. The accommodation is spacious and has a good choice of seating areas in the enclosed garden. The hot tub was great, after a day of exploring was a nice treat to relax in the well maintained hot tub. The location is well situated and is in easy reach to the attractions that we wanted to see and visit. I would definitely recommend a stay at Gloccamaura. We would love to return in the future. The venue was wonderful, cosy and welcoming.

It was spacious and clean and had all of the essentials for a great stay.

Wow what an absolute Gem of a place we came as a group of 7 over 3 generations and this suited everyone of us!

We hadn’t travelled far (30 minutes) due to grandparents not being able to drive far but it definitely felt like a million miles away. Lots of beautiful places to visit on Dartmoor Widcombe in the moor, Hay Tor, Buckfast Abby just a few to name! The lodge was absolutely stunning and plenty of space the kitchen and open plan living/dining area was great everyone enjoyed cooking together and we even did some baking the kitchen is well equipped with everything you possibly needed our kids enjoyed the snug lounge as well they was plenty of cards board games to choose from. the log burner was ample amount of heating (we turned the radiators down) Our 2 dogs loved the outside garden all fenced in and plenty of room for them to have a mooch around. The hot tub was superb and the fairy lights around the fence was beautiful we sat out quite late a few nights just star gazing and listening to the owl. Jo and Max made us all feel very welcome right from the start with a wonderful hamper and messaged me after the first night to see how we were and if anything was needed and very kindly kept our logs stocked up! We all would definitely recommend this wonderful place to stay we all fell in love with it and it ticked every box plus more!!!! We are actually looking at dates for next year Thanks again Jo & Max in your hospitality from all of us!

What a brilliant property.

In a quiet area but only 5 minutes from shops, takeaways and very central for visiting many of Devons attractions. The property itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable holiday. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again.

GLOCCAMAURA Is a beautiful place to stay.

As well as lovely accommodation it has a wonderful outside area which is completely enclosed so suitable for families with young children and furry friends. Jo and Max, the owners, are fantastic and always available for any queries. We have stayed in this area of Devon previously however will not look anywhere else now for repeat visits as GLOCCAMAURA is perfect for our family holidays.

This was our second stay here, and once again we all thoroughly adored it.

The spacious layout is great for socialising and cooking. The outside space with seating, dining and hotub ticks all the boxes, and the lawn is great for games. Easy access to the town and many attractions along with the stunning Moor on your doorstep.

The property is fabulous.

.. In a peaceful place too.. Everything needed to hand.. Well equipped..Very comfortable.. The hot tub was great too to relax in after days out... Great size of property

I am sorry but this is supposed to be pet friendly but apart from a small garden the only other walk is the drive.

To take you dog for a walk you have to drive unless you like to walk single lane roads. The hot tub is under power probably not maintained properly. the tv in the front room is on its last legs. the property itself is not clean there are cobwebs everywhere they have been in place for a long time as they are covered in dust. the sofa if you lift the cushions well that has not been cleaned for months. They do not even move them to clean under them, the bathroom floor is in poor condition very near ready to replace, the cabinet in the bathroom has not been cleaned for a long time. For what is supposed to be luxury accommodation has slowly been left to deteriorate. I would not go back or recommend it to anyone. If this sounds unfair then you are looking at what it should be as we saw it first a lovely property but the longer you are there the more you see that has not been maintained or cleaned.

Cottage as described.

Bigger than expected. But very clean and comfortable for our family . We had a very wet week it rained everyday So we couldn’t really use the hot tub or the garden . Plenty of things to do and see in the area . The books and games came in very handy . I would definitely come and stay again . ( but in the summer ) Only suggestion I would make is to extend the patio area for the hot tub so you can walk around it and a cover of some sort so it can still be used even if the weather doesn’t cooperate on your holiday.

Wow ,amazing , what a lovely place to unwind and relax with absolutely everything you need and more , Everything was very clean inside and out with the hot tub being a massive bonus , we are a family with the eldest being 89 and the youngest 10 , we all had a amazing time thank you for having us , we will be back

I booked this to celebrate my wife's special birthday, I also invited some friends aswell.

The cottage was absolutely superb, we had everything we needed and plenty of extras that we loved. I would whole heartedly recommend this cottage to any one looking for that something special. We will definitely be back. Thankyou Max & Jo

Fabulous property.

Had everything you could need, very well equipped and comfortable. The location is fabulous, peaceful countryside with the moors on your doorstep and a short drive to the coast. The owners and their family couldn’t have been more helpful. We’re already trying to work out when we can go back.

The property has everything you want for a large group, spacious and quiet.

The garden is lovely and very dog/child friendly. We highly recommend this property and we will be booking again.

The property was fantastic, the facilities were amazing and the owners were lovely.

It was a home from home…they had thought of everything we could possibly need from kitchen equipment, pet care items to games and books etc… for our entertainment! The hot tub was a welcome extra! It was in a great location for visits to Dartmoor and the coast! Perfect for our 3 generation family get together, we would definitely recommend Gloccamaura!

Plenty of rooms and space for big families.

Hot tub was nice a hot on arrival with a hamper! Tvs had lots of channels, comfy beds and WiFi for the kids. Kitchen is like home from home. With added bonus of washing machine if longer stays. You have you only section of heaven as this is a lodge with its own drive with plenty of parking. It has high fences and its own garden. Prefect for walking families and dog owners. Its 6 minutes drive from Becky Falls and there are beautiful walks close by. Shops are a short drive., A beautiful place to stay! We would recommend this to all!!
