Cosy Cottage

Having stayed here before, our expectations were just as high.

It did not disappoint. Everything was on one level which was what we wanted. It was lovely not to worry about taking towels etc with us as they were all provided. And it was great to have a welcome package of brownies and milk etc. Anna was very welcoming when we arrived. It was off the "beaten track" but not too far from Launceston. Homeleigh Garden Centre nearby at Dutson was a great place to go for all gardening things and had gifts and displays for Christmas. All day breakfast was also available if you couldn't be bothered to cook. However, Cosy Cottage had all the equipment to cook your own, be it breakfast or dinner! All in all a "cosy" stay awaits you!

The cottage was spacious and warm.

Every piece of equipment that one could wish for was provided including a popcorn maker! The settee was a bit of a challenge for a 75 year old! Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, clean and so cozy.

The cottage is in the middle of nowhere which was perfect for us, lovely hearing the cows and owls at night. Was very dog friendly We would definitely stay here again We had a brilliant stay here.

Honestly, we booked this place on accident - we were looking for places in Lincolnshire & this one somehow popped up (& we're so glad it did).

We were looking for a weekend break (we live in Coventry & wasn't planning to travel far.......oops). THIS PLACE IS AMAZING - we can't stress that enough. Lots of room for the dogs to be outside & the amenities inside were fantastic (made good use of the popcorn maker). The hosts were more than welcoming, due to work commitments & traffic jams, we didn't arrive until quite late & they had everything set up for our arrival. The outdoor seating was brilliant - watching the bats flying around on a warm summer evening was a real treat. We will definitely be back for an extended visit - a weekend just doesn't give Cosy Cottage the time it deserves.

What a beautiful cottage, everything you could need and more.

Plenty of space for us and our 2 GSD’s. Lovely to have 2 large fields for exercising the dogs in the morning. Also a very well equipped games room on the complex and a selection of games in the accommodation. Some lovely goodies awaiting our arrival and also some treats for the dogs. The owner is a lovely lady and came to introduce herself after we arrived and came to wish us a safe journey the evening before we left.

Cosy Cottage is a beautifully renovated farm building.

It’s spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Anna has made sure every need is met and it’s very dog friendly! We really enjoyed our short visit and will definitely be back when we are next in Devon.

Absolutely delightful cottage, attention to detail from the hosts made you feel at home from moment your walk through the door, perfect location to explore the stunning towns and villages of Cornwall and Devon, massive field on your doorstep for the dogs to explore, Anna was a very welcoming and helpful host, spent 5 nights in the cottage and will be definitely spending many more there in the future.

Cosy Cottage is a lovely quiet place.

The cottage is well appointed with all the things you need for a relaxing time. Everything is on one level and has modern fittings. If you like to listen to birds singing rather than traffic noise then this is for you. The owner Anna was easily approachable and made you feel welcome.

A comfortable, very well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage with a great private outdoor space and views over a very quiet stretch of the Devon countryside.

We certianly plan to visit again. Top notch!

We recently stayed at cosy cottage, what a lovely relaxing week, the cottage had everything we needed, an amazing bonus of a private outside space, where we could relax in the sun and look at the stars at night.

We took our cocker spaniel with us for her first long break with us. The cottage patio was secure and safe for her. Adjacent to the cottage are 2 enormous fields with lovely views and acres of room for the dog to roam. The cottage, the area and hosts Anna and Paul was amazing, definitely 5 stars.

This little gem was delightful.

Anna the owner was there when we arrived to explain everything, she was lovely and very welcoming. Cosy cottage is exactly as described. We were there for some rest bite and it was perfect. Our old dog loved the walk around their fields adjacent to the property & the games room is a great idea for a bit of fun for young & older folk. Will definitely return to this beautiful place. Loved it.

The owners are so friendly and helpful and the cottage is well equipped. Thank you for providing a welcome pack for us and the dogs too. Angus and Bertie our Jack Russells loved their holiday, particularly the large field opposite the cottage.

Beautiful place to stay.

Well equipped, clean. Very quiet. The owner came out to welcome us and show us round the property. Plenty of things to do and see in the area including national Trust properties and steam railways among other things. Shame it's so far from home as I would like to stay again .

We loved our stay at Cosy Cottage.

It was in a beautiful location so peaceful and quiet all you could hear was the sound of the birds. Had great outside space to sit and relax in the evenings and it was very private. The cottage provided all you needed was very clean and tidy and the sofa and bed were very comfy. Would highly recommend.
