This is a beautiful and comfortable property, lots of character and everything you would need for a self catering holiday.

A few small shops and takeaways within a 10 min walk. Larger supermarkets 15 min drive. A 30ish min walk to the sea front. Liz and Andrew were wonderful hosts, milk, eggs (fresh from the garden chicken pen) provided. I would highly recommend this holiday home.

Our 2nd visit and the property doesn’t disappoint.

Very clean, high quality furnishings and plenty of nice touches such as a lovely welcome pack for us and blankets and bowls for our dog. Situated in a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach and there are many places of interest to visit nearby. Once home, there is a lovely raised patio area to relax with sea views. Great hosts and highly recommended.

Everything catered for (and more besides). Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Concur with all the positive reviews, so won't repeat them.

A lovely comfortable apartment and an excellent base for exploring the Minehead area.

We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. A great location for walking with good public transport links which meant we managed several car-free days.

I had a wonderfully relaxing week in this spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment.

The owners are on site and very friendly. The fresh eggs and lavish welcome pack were a delightful bonus. And the views!!! Lots of beautiful and interesting places nearby to visit - I climbed Dunkery Beacon, shopped in Dunster, walked the coast path from Watchet to the fossil beach, and enjoyed the beach at Minehead too. If I visit the area in future I would gladly stay here again.

The Outlook is equipped to a very high standard and the hosts Liz and Andrew have thought of and added everything you need for a home from home experience. There is absolutely nothing to dislike. The apartment is very clean, warm and cozy. Although set over the bath, the shower is great and the bed is very comfortable. All the furniture in the lounge is comfortable. It is in a fabulous location with fantastic views across Minehead and has a very nice local pub within a couple of hundred yards that is dog friendly and serves a variety of good pub food and real ales. We would not hesitate to book again and were so grateful for the welcome pack left for us on arrival. Thanks again Liz and Andrew. Top marks all round and hope to see you again in the future. It's our 2nd stay at The Outlook and this time was as good as last.

A fabulous welcome pack on arrival including eggs from the resident chickens. The apartment is in a great location, ideal for dog walks on the beach or up to Alcombe and further. Liz and Andrew made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation is spacious and homely with all you need for a relaxing week. We are back again next year!!

Beautifully furnished, very comfortable, everything you could think of was provided. Wonderful views, day and night! In a quiet location and with access to the garden, very relaxing. The welcome pack was generous to a fault and the Hosts were so friendly and informative it was a pleasure to stay and hope to go back. Highly recommend.

The Outlook is the best holiday property we have ever stayed at.

It was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Andrew and Liz are really nice and they are so generous. The goodies they left in the kitchen were very unexpected but much appreciated, especially the eggs from their hens and ducks. We enjoyed it so much we would like to go again.

The Outlook is an amazing, very spacious apartment.

Beautifully appointed, decorated and accessorised with everything you could need. Books, maps and guidebooks to help you get what you want from your stay. Andrew and Liz are lovely hosts. Situated on the edge of Minehead with direct access onto the walks of Exmoor.

Excellent property, which has had a lot of thought, care and attention put into it.

It’s spotless and well equipped. Friendly owners, who left us a great welcome basket which included their own eggs. Also very dog friendly. The views are stunning, the outside area is great, we loved watching the ducks and hens and it was very comfortable and peaceful. Would definitely stay again. We also enjoyed the location and the area.

Lovely premises and Andrew and Liz were lovely people.

There to help if needed but not imposing. The lounge was so comfortable, and we spent hours sitting in the comfy chairs talking whilst looking at the views. Almost had to make ourselves go into the garden - but once there we felt very comfortable, and only left it to top up on our drinks every now and again. Bathroom and shower facilities exceeded our expectations (I am usually skeptical when I see one in the bath but excellent shower). They even had a basket with toothbrushes soaps etc in case you had forgotten to bring something. Very thoughtful, as was the rest of the welcome package. Our small dog felt at home immediately and garden set up so that we were comfortable letting him run around whilst we supped our drinks. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom and we could easily have stayed there a week. Likewise the Kitchen catered for everything - even chopsticks for the local Chinese takeaway - and nice dining table - again with good views out of the Window. One of the few places we have found in recent years where you look forward to coming back after any trip out, Knowing that you can relax in the garden or indoors. Britannia Pub a 2 minute walk did excellent food, and had Sky Sports for those that want it. Plenty of takeaways in walking distance and a Co-op to top up your drinks cabinet. We will certainly be coming back at some point next year - if not before.

The holiday property was excellent.

Slight issue the walk to the beach took longer and felt further than anticipated.This wouldn’t have been a big thing, but the weather was so hot that it made any exercise feel like hard work

The attention to detail the owners (Liz and Andrew) have given the apartment to facilitate the comfort of their guests is off the scale, from the moment you enter the property your aware they make the comfort of their guest's their number 1 priority, the apartment is both decorated and furnished to the highest standard and is a credit to their hard work and diligence.

The Outlook was very clean and immaculately decorated and furnished and the best property we have stayed in. Everything was provided for a self catering holiday including items for our dog if needed.The lovely extras, fresh eggs from Liz’s ducks and chickens, milk, coffee, etc were very unexpected and a lovely surprise on arrival and appreciated. The Outlook is certainly a very homely place with a relaxing area outside to enjoy the views. A good base to travel by car to surrounding villages and places of interest, with a pub and shops are just minutes walk away and the seafront and town centre are also within walking distance. We will definitely visit again- Thank You

Wow!

I can honestly say that this is one of the best properties we have stayed in. What an amazing apartment - it truly was like a home from home, with everything we could possibly need during our holiday. The hosts, Liz and Andy, were lovely and were around during the week but weren't obtrusive. The location was fantastic - do go up to the outside seating area (up about 26 steps) for marvellous views of Minehead and beyond. I've never been to this part of the country before but I'm hoping to return again!

Very comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped property with everything you need and the cleanest place we have ever stayed in.

Great views from the property and in good position to visit all areas of Exmoor and coastline but be prepared for some narrow access roads. Lovely stay and would happily return.

An exceptional property.

We had an amazing week in this beautiful apartment. The Outlook had everything we and our dog needed. The extra touches were much appreciated, dog bed/dog towels…welcome pack, especially the freshly laid eggs from the chickens and ducks we could see from the kitchen window! We hardly used the car as it was an easy walk to the beach and there were plenty of walks whether it be by the sea or more inland walks. Liz and Andrew have done a fabulous job, cannot thank them enough…looking forward to returning.

The outlook is a first rate holiday rental, providing exceptional cleanliness and comfort in the spacious rooms.

The owners had thought of just about everything you might need on a holiday, from lots of maps and information leaflets, to spare toiletries and the delicious goodies in the welcome pack, especially the fresh eggs. The property is in a great, quiet location on the outskirts of Minehead, but is within walking distance of the town centre and beach as well as supermarkets and bus stops and local shops. We were so glad we had chosen to stay at The Outlook.

This is a lovely 1st floor property situated on a hill on the edge of Minehead.

The hill and stairs would make it difficult for those with walking difficulties, but otherwise it offers a great outlook to the sea/Bristol channel estuary. The apartment is very tasteful and comfortable with everything you may need make your stay

This apartment was excellent beautifully furnished with all you could want on holiday, the welcome pack was the best we have had, everything you could think of was provided for a holiday it was just like home from home.

The accommodation was absolutely first class and the welcoming basket was excellent especially with their own duck and hen eggs.

The whole holiday experience was beyond expectations and we are looking forward to going back there next year

What a great find!

The apartment was lovely and clean, spacious and extremely comfortable (especially the bed!). As a lone female traveller, I felt safe and secure in the property. Everything you needed was there - even chopsticks for my takeaway! The views from the property were excellent, and I enjoyed sitting in the garden relaxing in the company of the ducks and hens. The welcome basket was great with the frshly laid eggs. I would definitely return.

One of the best properties we have stayed in.

The apartment is so clean and comfortable and the views are stunning. The owners are very friendly and we were made to feel welcome with a gift basket and wine. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic property ,everything there for a perfect stay ,very friendly owners ,fantastic views,very close to visit lots of places,lovely outside sitting area ,fresh eggs and treats on arrival ,we had a superb stay and we’re lucky with the weather .

Stayed here for a week 30th June - 7th July, as we toured the South West of England.

We could not fault this property, everything was just perfect for us. There are a lot of steps in the garden as it’s on a steep hill. The apartment is on the first floor with a lot of stairs to climb so may not be suitable for those with walking issues. But the views from the lounge are amazing and you can see across to Wales. We couldn’t fault it and would definitely like to return. There is plenty to do around the area and Dunster Castle/village is a must see. I hope anyone staying will enjoy it as much as we did.

The Outlook was everything we asked for on our short break with our dog, really appreciated the extra little touches from Liz and Andrew who were very accommodating and helpful.

The place was clean, modern and clearly well looked after. It was in a great location for exploring exmoor. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

I loved my short stay at The Outlook.

It is cosy, stylish and generous in all it offers. The views are lovely and I was lucky enough to enjoy both sun rises and sunsets! Dogs are generously provided for and my furry companion had a good time. I felt welcomed and cared for in every way. My only disappointment was the Bath! I don’t have one at home and I was looking forward to a wallow. It was slow to fill and difficult to get the temperature just right. This small disappointment didn’t impinge on my very real appreciation and enjoyment of my stay. Thank you so much Liz and Andy. I shall recommend the Outlook to all my friends.

A delightful and well equipped property, with stunning views out over Minehead, North Hill and the Bristol Channel.

We loved the level of finish and the decor/furnishings which created a lovely sense of home from home. We were also impressed by the equipment and thought that had clearly gone into this lovely apartment. The provision of a dog bed and bowel was a lovely gesture. We had a lovely week and it was a fabulous base for exploring the area.
