The Milking Barn
Description

What guests are saying
Very easy to find, great location and first impressions very clean and welcoming.
Plenty to do in the local area, owners helpful and friendly. A lovely stay for our family, quiet and relaxing if that’s what you’d like or plenty of attractions near by.
We had a wonderful stay.
Very good location for what we wanted to do. Only thing I would say is it would have been nice to if got a few welcome bits. Just the basics like tea, coffee and milk would have been nice. But that’s just me being picky. It’s a lovely place to stay with plenty of space and a lot lovely location. If you are lucky the cat might come visit
This barn conversion is a good size, easily enough for four people, with large rooms apart from Bed 2 which is rather small, ok for children or single adult.
The setting is a large farmyard, with two other smaller lets nearby. Outside the decked patio with chairs and table looks out onto countryside, good for birdwatching. As other reviewers have said, just a few extras in the kitchen would make stays easier - more crockery especially mugs, so you didn't have to use the dishwasher so much, and cutlery too. There was only one small tea towel, for cups etc. The owner was friendly and responded quickly to our request for heating, and help with kitchen machines. Overall it was a quiet and pleasant spot, but watch out for the single track lane approach, as you can meet oncoming cars suddenly!
