We'd had a trying few months and were looking for somewhere that was remote, would offer the peace we were so desperately craving and didnt break the bank.

Dotted on a beautiful hillside with incredible views of the surrounding country, the wheelhouse fit the bill beautifully. We spent the majority of our stay on the seating area out the back just soaking in the sites and sounds of the place and appreciating the abundant wildlife right there in the garden. The building itself looks tiny on the outside but feels spacious and airy when you get inside with plenty of room for the 2 of us and our dog to relax and not feel on top of one another. We had a brilliant and much needed reset here and can't wait to come back.
