A lovely escape for a five day break.

Well equipped and maintained property with on site parking and EV charging facility if required. Lovely balcony with nice views over fields. Quiet and peaceful.

Amazing place, spotlessly clean.

A lovely little space in the countryside that’s so relaxing. Lovely location, 30 min drive from burnham-on-sea beach. But a lovely place to just stay in too. The balcony is the star of the show with a lovely view to relax on. The bbq on the balcony is also great. We brought our infant with us and our travel cot fit with ease. The facilities are amazing everything that you could need in the kitchen provided for. Even provided us with tea, coffee and fresh milk. The bath room is lovely. Beautifully clean and the shower was lovely with great water pressure. We also loved the added touch of the games provided (cards, chess, scrabble). We had a game of cards on the balcony on the evening it was fab. There is no light pollution in the area too so we had a great time watching the stars. Hosts very lovely and considerate even left us a fan in the room as it was hot heatwave weather when we were there. Parking next to property, easy check in with key safe. Just overall an amazing place we absolutely loved it and would come back again.

This property is lovely, and with a few small improvements, would absolutely be 5-star rated!

Some attention to detail regarding the crockery and cutlery provision is required (e.g. chipped mugs and some ageing utensils). The outside space is fabulous, but the rear of the property needs cleaning (above and around the doors), and the outdoor furniture needs updating due to rust and poor comfort. The crab apple tree in front of the balcony could also use a trim to enhance the view! Still a perfect location for some much-needed downtime, had a lovely week.

The hosts Helen and Richard are such a lovely couple, my wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending little knaplock.

The cottage was very clean, well equipped and well laid out. There were great views from the balcony and it was nicely located for everything that we wanted to see and do in the area.

This is the second time we have stayed here, which I consider to be testament to the owners and what the property has to offer Very clean, tidy and well equipped.

Stayed at Little Knaplock for a week.

Lovely location, great for seeing sun rise and set. Very well equipped apartment and it was great to meet the owners. Welcome Pack on arrival was a nice touch too. Well located for getting out and about and we took an EV so having the ability to charge overnight was very useful. Happy to recommend and will certainly return in the future

Had a lovely time definitely go back going to book for our 1st anniversary next year was welcomed with a lovely card and bottle of champagne

Fabulous stay, stunning location, view and apartment, spotless throughout and finished to a high standard.

Everything you could need, nice touch of tea, coffee and milk provided on arrival, great after a long journey, and a bonus of an electric charging point. Great hosts, would absolutely stay again.

A great base to explore. Hosts are friendly & helpful but not intrusive and they really have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. Perfect for a couples getaway.

Walks from the property as well as some within a short drive away and many places of interest to visit. Great hosts ready to provide you information about the area and suggestions if required, which we were happy to get and enjoyed. Would definitely recommend for a great stay.

This is our third stay at little knaplock we found it as usual very clean and comfortable such a relaxing place to stay made special by the welcome gift and flowers in vase.

Little Knaplock is an excellent base for exploring Somerset and Exmoor by car, bike or on foot.

It was clean, comfortable and well equipped with a lovely view and in a peaceful area. The carport and EV charger are a bonus and Helen and Richard were excellent hosts.

Little knaplock has been the best get away I’ve had in a long time.

It has everything you could ever need and more. The view from the balcony is just beautiful and we spent a lot of time out there making the most of it. Aswell as bringing the new year in with a game of scrabble and a glass of champagne. Not only is little knaplock beautiful but all around is too, we stopped off at Kilve beach which was recommended by the owner and again that was an amazing sight. We will definitely be keeping an eye out for when it’s free again :)

The owners obviously put a lot of thought into kitting it out. The maps and info of the area were a real bonus, so useful for exploring the beautiful countryside. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was well maintained with everything that we needed.

The only 'negative' was that due to the slope of the roof I was unable to sit up in bed but I guess there is nothing that could be done about that! I would definitely recommend this accommodation

A wonderful rural retreat.

Exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped property that was a great location from which to venture out onto the Somerset section of the England Coast Path (even though the weather wasn't great!!). Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent accommodation, ideal for 2.

Not only is the studio well laid out, with everything you need, it is also a very nicely furnished (a really comfy bed!) and tastefully decorated apartment; a pleasure to stay in. The location is excellent too; hills, saltmarshes, the sea, and woodland are all within reach. We are keen to return to see more of the area. The owners are charming and helpful, including a great welcome pack to start you off.

Little Knaplock is a perfect property.

Helen and Richard are lovely but unobtrusive hosts, providing all the information you need to have a brilliant time exploring Somerset, such as OS maps, walks, details of all amenities, lots of books and games, blankets for those rare cool nights for stargazing under the big beautiful dark skies, and even local coffee, yes, milk, bread and tasty eggs from the lovely quiet chickens. The property is well appointed, tastefully decorated and the bed is really comfy and cosy. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I were spending a joint birthday break away at Little Knaplock.

From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home and totally relaxed. The accommodation was first class, very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the entrance downstairs leading up to the open area complete with balcony overlooking stunning scenery and the owners hens. Bathroom was modern and light, as was the kitchen. Wi-Fi was excellent which most people know expect. We were fortunate enough to meet the owners who were very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault our stay and hopefully we will return soon.

Little Knaplock is a stylish loft studio apartment with a lovely balcony in a rural location.

We loved the proximity to the Quantock Hills. We were impressed by the quality furnishings and equipment. For us , the Electric Vehicle charger was a massive plus. We really enjoyed our holiday and meeting Helen and Richard. The welcome pack was appreciated with some lovely fresh eggs from the hens in the garden.

There was a lovely welcome pack for us when we arrived, plenty of information about pubs, shops, walks etc.

Just what we were looking for.. a peaceful place to escape with cycling on our doorstep. The owners were really helpful even offering towels and hoses for the bikes, and tops for routes. Very much appreciated the welcome park including their own fresh eggs!

It was a lovely property and we had everything we needed. We used it as a base to travel to near by cities to do our Christmas shopping and it was a lovely place to come back and chill after a long day :)

A lovely place to stay.

A modern annex with everything we needed and more. Private on site parking was superb and there is even a charging point for electric vehicles. We enjoyed our week but wish the weather had allowed us to use the bbq and balcony. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and would love to stay again in this beautiful spot. Our first stay in a Sykes cottage will definitely not be our last

Loved our stay at Little Knaplock!

Great location to travel around Somerset Accommodation is quaint, but doesnt lack in space or of anything you need. We stayed for a week and was completely self sufficient - everything you need to cook is to hand, bed is comfortable and sofa is fab to relax on. Bathroom a fab size - inclusive of a power shower. Lovely balcony to sit out and admire the view whilst reading. The lovely owner lives just next door (expressed that "all we have to do is knock" if we needed anything) - plus there was even a little welcome pack consisting of fresh milk, eggs and bread plus some tea and coffee. Would 100% recommend.

The property is a perfect place to retreat and recharge.

Location is really quiet and peaceful. It has everything you need. Shop and pub near by. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely stay in fabulous countryside.

Our hosts were 100%,friendly,helpful and full of local knowledge.Ive down graded comfort only due to it being a loft where hitting our heads on ceilings was a slight discomfort!..but the layout and style of the loft was first class....fully recommended by us especially if you like walking /cycling.This is a very new property and well worth a visit.Bliss!

Lovely place to stay.

Everything as been thought of and of very good quality. The bed is very comfortable and the shower excellent too.

Richard & Helen were most considerate & welcoming to the cleanest most modern apartment we have stayed at.
