Greenlawns

This is the second time that as a large multi-generational family we have visited this property.

It is spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and the garden is immense - great for ball games and a well-behaved corgi. The only downside on this occasion was the powerful strobe security light in a neighbouring garden which disturbed the sleep of those in the rear-facing bedrooms.

Wonderful house for a family get together.

Lots of space for 16 of us to spend time together. Huge acre of well kept lawn for games, rounders, cricket, hide and seek etc and the hot tub was very popular. Only a short walk or drive to some excellent sandy beaches which were almost empty. Owner very accommodating and available with a couple of problems we had (not the fault of the property). Massive table in kitchen diner and patio for us all to sit down together. Really spotless an luxurious. Thoroughly recommend it.

We was a family of 13 and we had a amazing time, there was everything you needed from garden games in garage and paddling pools The house was amazing it was huge and worked well for a big party

Greenlawns is a fabulous house for a large gathering.

It is very well equipped and there were plenty of resources like toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc. Plenty of towels too! The garden is huge, plenty of room for games and the dog loved it too. It is very secure which has been an issue in other houses we have stayed in, as he is an escape artist!! The hot tub was enjoyed by the teenagers in our group. We loved the large open kitchen/ diner, a lovely social space. We would happily stay again.

The house is really nice, a very good size, well maintained and very well equipped (even with the little things like soap in the toilets, salt, pepper, bin bags, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs), The hot tub is maintained daily and the grounds are very spacious and secure if you have a dog. In terms of location it is on a relatively quiet, leafy road with an easy walk to the beach or Burnham centre but is also only a couple of miles from the motorway and trunk roads for trips further afield.

Lovely house and annexe set in large gardens and easy access to the beach and town.

Could not fault it (except for the odd cobweb). Family had a great time and felt at home.

Greenlawns is a wonderful property with fantastic spacious, sociable facilities for a large group.

Its location is in striking distance of many interesting places, but equally those who prefer to stay in the local area, the beach is beautiful.

This property was exactly as described on the website .

we had a mixed party ranging from 78 year olds down to 6 month newest member of family .every bedroom was full and we had an absolutely fantastic family holiday our 2 dogs loved the large garden .there was plenty to keep us occupied nearby golfers were out 3 times-shoppers more than that !! Particularly enjoyed lunches at cider farm they were excellent and staff ever so friendly.Thank you to owners of greenlawns you have a terrific property and we look forward to re booking with you very soon

A huge house and lawn with lots of space for a large family.

So many features and welcome touches, such as cooling fans and TVs in all the bedrooms. The house has been renovated to a high standard and the kitchen is very well equipped. The owner makes daily calls to check the hot tub and removes rubbish and recycling frequently. A fault with one of the showers was repaired very quickly. The house is in a quiet area with easy access to the beach, restaurants and local supermarkets.

Good communication from owners and a wonderful house with lots of space for a large family gathering.

Wonderful venue - delightful property which was ideal for our 2 groups; family & friends.

We had a fantastic stay at Greenlawns.

A little disappointing to find stale sandwiches under one of the beds on arrival and sanitary towels behind the bedside table but otherwise a lovely property. Cleaners need to be more thorough!! The garden was lovely and allowed the dogs to run around and for us all as a family to play badminton, boules and croquet.

Was all we expected and read about the property it was so spacious as there were fifteen of us ranging from one to grandparents.

The house was brilliant as plenty of rooms if you needed quiet space and a massive garden for football and hide and seek and running around time.The hot tub was an extra delight after days out ect to just have relax time! After a week we voted best yet

we all had a wonder weekend my grandchildren had a lovely time in the hot tub and all the garden games.

Greenlawns was an excellent location for our multi-generational family Christmas gathering (members from 14 to 81).

The house is spacious, well equipped and furnished, and maintained to a high standard. It was beautifully warm, a major factor at Christmas! It is within easy reach of shopping facilities, and the beach (but we didn't spend much time there!). The owner is very attentive and friendly.

only thing was when we cooked a meal in the Annexe.

We needed a saucepan or a pyrex jug. But we took one from the big house. So not a problem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed here earlier this month and could not have wished for a better property.

It had everything you could need, we were 3 generations and it suited everyone. The garden and hot tub a big hit, the grandchildren absolutely loved the garden,they were happy to come back and play in the enormous garden, where we all joined in. The onyl slight hiccup was the bbq, it did not have different levels to cook food on but we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Excellent holiday home for a large family group.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Owners were very helpful. Our boys loved the hot tub and running around playing games in the huge secure garden.

Our stay for a big family holiday at Greenlawns was fantastic and we are hoping to make this an annual trip for us all.

The house and garden is absolutely beautiful and there was plenty of space for us all to feel that we weren’t on top of each other. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need and the house itself is finished to a very high standard, well maintained and very clean. There are a few points that we would like to feedback to you that we feel would make staying at Greenlawns even more comfortable. Bathmats being provided in the bathrooms would be extremely helpful as we all had to use one of our towels for stepping out of the baths and showers which isn’t ideal. We feel that some of the bedrooms would benefit from a slightly larger bed, the bed in the downstairs room is especially small and the couple that were in there, unfortunately didn’t sleep too well. We think it would also be hugely helpful if bedding was provided for when the sofa beds are in use, we had to go out and buy bedding for the children who were using the sofa bed in the annex which was obviously not budgeted for. The only other details we would like to feedback is maybe giving notice on when the gardener and window cleaner will arrive, we had to clear the lawn and couldn’t be outside when the gardener turned up unexpectedly to mow the lawn ( he didn’t seem at all pleased that there were guests in the house and he hadn’t been informed of this ) The window cleaner also arrived unexpectedly and gave my sister- in- law quite a fright as she was sleeping at the time. Overall our holiday was extremely enjoyable but we do feel these points need addressing if possible.

We had a lovely stay at Greenlawns, the house was perfect for all 16 of us.

The children loved playing in the garden & the hot tub was an extra bonus. We would definitely return to Greenlawns. Thank you

Lovely property, with so much space both indoor and outdoors.

We didn't even use the annex but it was still so big. The kids loved the garden and we were able to walk to the beach from the property. The decor and finishing across the property was very well done

Greenlawns was the perfect place for a family celebration of an eightieth birthday barbecue and the extra facilities in the annex kitchen both cooking and dishwashing were very useful.

Very spacious inside especially as the weather was not wonderful. We cooked “at home “ every day

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely house .

So we'll set up excellent facilities everything we needed was in the house .The owner was always available and on hand when we needed him .Would definitely recommend a stay in this amazing property.

Fantastic accommodation.

Really comfortable and plenty of space for three generations of our family to spend time together.

A lovely property, particularly the kitchen and dining area which is light and spacious and very well supplied and equipped, including not just all the usual things but also useful extras such as a heated airer for drying washing indoors.

Very nice outdoor space too, with a lovely table and sun loungers (although we didn't have the weather to use them!). The hot tub is clean and well maintained with someone coming to check it every morning. The owners were very responsive to any queries we had. Only some minor points for feedback/improvement - there are venetian blinds in all the rooms (rather than curtains); these don't completely keep out the light and there were some grumbles about it being hard to sleep once it started to get light outside. Secondly, the listing on the website doesn't make it clear that the annexe is over two floors and not single storey (could be an issue if you have a couple of people with reduced mobility). Last very small point - it would be helpful if the front and back door keys were on separate keyrings!!

We had the most wonderful time at this fabulous property !

Very well equipped and lots of space ! Very close to the beach for the children and the dog and a very well secured garden for both ! Lots of lovely surrounding places to visit! I would recommend this property for a large family holiday! My only comments are that it should be made clear that the annexe bedroom and bathroom are up stairs as I interpreted as all being on one floor from the advert as we needed two downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms for the two older and limited mobility members of the family so my mother had to sleep on the bed settee downstairs in the annexe and had to use the one downstairs bathroom by entering the main property. Possibly instal a stair lift ? We managed but it may not be possible for other families. And also grab rails need to be installed in the downstairs shower as that was a struggle too for the other family member who has MS and finds it difficult to stand for too long. But overall a beautiful property on a stunning road and the owners were lovely people and very helpful !

What a fabulous house - it had everything we could have wanted.

I couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate my 60th birthday with all my family. The wonderful kitchen was great for our party night and my grandchildren and dog loved playing in the huge garden with the hot tub being an added bonus. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and 4 lovely bathrooms. We all had the best time and would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us.

A well planned and equipped holiday home plenty of space for everyone rapid response of owners if we had a problem a few more garden toys/things of interest in the very large garden would be good

Excellent property for a family get together - highly recommended

This was a perfect venue for our family get together celebrating a 50th birthday and we had an amazing weekend there.

My family group (6 adults, 6 kids under 13 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our reunion, staying in this definitely 5-star property.

Superbly fitted, extremely spacious, the icing on the cake for the oldies being the therapeutic peace and quiet escape of the annexe!! A luxurious property that manages to maintain a homely feel. It was perfect, despite typical English weather, and the hot-tub helped make our holiday at Greenlawns very special. Thank you.

We had a fabulous weekend celebrating my husband’s 50th Birthday.

There was plenty of space for us to all dine together at the big table and relax in the large lounge in front of the fire. The garden was fully enclosed, great for the dogs and the beach was only 5 minutes walk away.

What a lovely property which allowed all 10 of us to spread out and relax after a rather hectic lead up to our stay.

Everything was certainly top notch and exceeded our expectations of a 5 star residence. We intend to return for a longer stay in the very near future. Well done!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Greenlawns.

We were a group of families with young children and the property was ideal for our 4-night get together. There was ample space for the kids both inside and in the garden. The open plan kitchen and dining area was a fantastic socialising spot for the adults. The hot tub was an added bonus. The location is also spot on - walking distance to the beach as well as into the middle of Burnham with its restaurant, pub and Grocery shop options. James and the team were always on hand to help us with any queries during our stay. I would highly recommend Greenlawns for a group stay.

Fantastic property!

As has been mentioned elsewhere, the photos don't do the house justice. 15 of us stayed during a drizzly November weekend and had a great time with the hot tub, masses of space, and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. It'd be great if the kitchen/dining room/nook had some kind of acoustic dampeners as it can get a little noisy with a larger group but otherwise Greenlawns is very highly recommended. Thanks!

Lovely house, even better than photos suggest.

Excellent facilities for large group of mixed ages. Hot tub much used. Dogs loved large & totally secure garden. Lots of good walks close by so no need to use cars too much. Would definitely book again.

We had a really lovely stay st Greenlawns.

The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you might ever need. Our little dog had a whale of a time bounding around the huge garden, while we sat back and relaxed on the patio watching. Hot tub and bbq made for a lovely night in celebrating my mum's 90th birthday. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms with fantastic showers, very modern kitchen and lovely cosy sofas. All 12 of us loved the house. And thank you for the chocolates and fizz!

This property was awesome, it met all our needs, it was very clean when we arrived.

Super large garden that the children and dogs loved running around in.

House and annex clean and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. Not sure if the owners have any further plans but think it might be a good idea to convert the garage into a games room, for the older children and the adults .

We were celebrating our Golden wedding anniversary, with our family of 9 plus 2 partners.

Another 10, family, came for lunch on Sat. The house fitted us all there were plenty of plates etc to feed 21 people, large containers for food and seating for us all. All ages 18 mths to 20 were very happy and the adults were able to move about and talk to everyone. We then had 3couples for 2 nights, lived outside from 7/8am till bed time. The kitchen all worked splendidly with space for people to move around doing food prep. Please could we have had a measuring jug, The problem we had with a bed and outside chairs was very quickly sorted by the owner who was most helpful. Hot tub brilliant for teenagers and family. The family have decided that New Year would be super in the house so perhaps one year that would be possible.

A magnificent property that satisfied all our requirements for 9 adults, one baby and 2 dogs.

A ground floor bedroom and shower room for my 88 year old mother, an annexe for our 7 week old granddaughter (and parents) for overnight feeding, a large garden for the two dogs to run around in and a hot tub for the rest of the family to relax. If I had one small recommendation… the stones on either side of the house were not conducive for a pram (or if a wheelchair needed to get to the ramps at the back of the house). Overall we lived the property.

The house is epic, isn’t anything we could fault.

There is plenty of attractions locally and only a short drive. We had a couple of questions and James responded quickly. We will return

Greenlawns is a fantastic property with excellent facilities.

It is very spacious, clean and light inside with an enormous garden. The hot tub was used by the younger members of our party every day. There are ample opportunities for people to break away and watch TV - 4 downstairs, 5 upstairs plus 2 in the beautiful annexe. It’s a good setting off point to explore the area with Wells, Glastonbury and Weston nearby.

A modern, comfortable, spacious house situated in a good location for beach and town.

The separate annexe is ideal for larger families and the downstairs bedroom and shower room is ideal for anyone who finds stairs a problem. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery etc. We found the utility room with an entrance outdoors very handy with the dogs. The owners maintained the hot tub regularly without being intrusive. The family enjoyed our weeks stay and would definitely use again.

Beautiful spacious house with lovely garden and hot tub.

Ideal for large family holiday - close to amenities and beach. Kitchen was very well equipped. Ground floor bedroom was great for elderly family member. The bathroom had a walk-in shower but some handles or a bath stool would have been beneficial. Overall a great place to stay for a special celebration.

We had a wonderful week at Greenlawns to celebrate my father's 80th birthday.

. There was plenty of room in this large house. As always with holiday homes small things went wrong, for example the dryer would not work, but the owners where so quick to fix any issues we had. The description states enclosed garden but there are gaps each side of the house. The owner has addressed this by putting green wired fencing that can be moved across the gaps as required. This gave great peace of mind as we had two dogs and a toddler with us. However I do not think the fence would stop older children or larger breeds of dogs accessing the front of the house. The front garden is large with an in out drive way, plenty of room to park cars, we had four. The kitchen / dining room is wonderful and fully equipped.. My only niggle is that the kitchen bin is far too small for the size of house and number of people staying. The reception rooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom was not as big as we hoped and the bed although a double seemed small and only suitable for one person, also the ground floor shower room is a bit of a trek away along the hall want, so anyone who needs to use the toilet alot during the night may have difficulties. The upstairs bedrooms are lovely, with plenty of storage. and comfortable beds. The shower rooms and bath rooms are clean and well appointed. The travel cot provided is clean and perfectly usable but it is not a standard cot size. You may want to ask the owner for dimensions if you are thinking of using your mattress from home. The beach is a 10 minute walk away, but check the tides as when it is high tide the sea comes all the way in leaving no beach to walk on. The town centre is a good 20 minute walk, which the younger members of our family found easy as it is very flat. However my parents would, struggle so they drove into town. Lovely little town with plenty of shops and cafés.. We where very lucky with the weather, a mini October heat wave! However one of joys of such a large house is plenty of space to enjoy even if raining. We had a special and lovely holiday,. We would like to thank the owners for providing a wonderful home for our family to celebrate my Father's birthday..

This is a lovely, well-designed, spacious house that genuinely is suitable for 14 adults.

Our only concern was that in amongst the generous supply of cooking utensils we could not find any means of making coffee.

This is a property large enough for the 14 of us to spread around in the 7 bedrooms and 4 sitting areas.

The kitchen/dining area is huge and well appointed and the utility room has a washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board (yes I did iron my husband's shirt & trousers for the journey home!) plus pegs for the washing line. The hot tub was a huge hit with the family & the grandchildren loved the huge garden although they lost a football and frisbee over the garden wall. We were well placed for visits to National Trust properties and the grandchildren loved their visits to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and Puxton Park. Tesco is very near & a decent size plus there's a Morrison's petrol station nearby. The property was very clean on arrival and is well equipped for a large gathering. Only items we missed were hooks on the backs of the bathroom doors and the rubbish and recycling bins are not large enough for the size of the property (I had to leave our overflow recycling in the washing up bowl, sorry) but this may be out of the control of the owners.

Beautiful luxurious property in fabulous grounds.

Ideal for families with pets and children. There was everything you needed for a brilliant holiday. There was with a lovely hot tub and BBQ which we made good use of. The owners were very helpful they attended the property to receive our on-line shop as we were we delayed in traffic. The beach was a 10 minute walk away and shops 20 minutes walk. A very peaceful place to stay to unwind we would definitely recommend and we will be revisiting in the future. The Dawson Family, Stoke-on-Trent

The property was very spacious and comfortable, and the outside space was spectacular.

Our two dogs absolutely loved the huge garden and making friends with tthe "locals" at tthe fromt gates. The owners were very attentive, fixing a small leak in one of the bathrooms and replacing one of the 11 TV's on a Sunday morning with a brand new one.
