Bradley Stables

We had lovely stay with our one year old child.

We were very lucky to be staying during a heatwave so we really enjoyed the countryside around. The cottage remained cool and very comfortable and we made the most of the fantastic pool. The property was well presented, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent and we really appreciated the welcome starter pack too. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Lots of National Trust places in the area, great walks along the river and loads of other great places to visit within about a 30 min drive. Even though we were away during the school holidays, the area didn’t feel very busy or crowded either, which we were pleased with.

This was my third visit to Bradley Stables.

Everything was as before, excellent! Need I say more and I would certainly return for a fourth visit.

We only had a short stay, but loved it.

The interior of the property is beautiful; and we were welcomed with a range of freebies: wine, biscuits, milk, etc; along with a welcome in person from Lisa and Lynn. Great location, hidden away in the heart of Exmoor. Fabulous.

Lovely host, comfortable appartement, lovely estate, superb swimming pool, amazing environment.

Bed not comfortable we both had very little sleep due to the bed.

What a lovely location!

This, our first stay at Bradley Stables, was great. A welcome pack is always a nice touch and was gratefully received. We then met our friendly, welcoming host. Comfortable with plenty of room for a couple, the conversion had everything we needed. Direct from the property the beautiful Valley with the River Barle is a short walk. Having the swimming pool available for a relaxing dip after each days walk was fantastic. We were also lucky to be introduced to some of the horses close up. Whilst there we booked to return again later in the year!

Warm, spacious, comfortable and a haven to return to after blustery and cold days out on the moor. I would have no hesitation coming again.,

Nikki has created a warm comfy cottage to relax in.

I truly appreciated little touches like farm milk in a bottle- it tasted of milk!! There was nothing missing in this beautiful safe location. I would certainly go back for a longer stay.

A lovely secluded place to stay with the benefit of a heated swimming pool that we used every day.

Friendly owner who made us feel welcome. Slippers robes and towels provided for the pool was a nice touch too. Great walking and within reasonable distance of the coast. Highly recommended!

Our 3 dogs were welcome, which was great.

Walks along the beautiful Barle River on the doorstep were the highlight of our holiday. Cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and the owners pool was wonderful. We would love to return for another visit and have already recommended to friends.

Loved the cottage and access to the private heated swimming pool

We stayed at Bradley Stables in a windy and wet week with our 5 month old and had a wonderful time.

We swam every day and had the pool to ourselves every time. We did several walks from the cottage without needing to get in a car including to Withypool and Exford to visit the pubs. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed walking alongside the River Barle despite the rain. Our host Nicky was very friendly and welcoming.

A very comfortable and cosy cottage, everyone friendly and helpful.

In a central place to visit surrounding towns and a heaven for walkers.

This is our second stay and we would like a third.

The property has everything you need from a holiday let with the added extra of a great location, use of a pool and a wonderful host. Very dog friendly.

Exactly as description beautiful quiet property.

We had a lovely break with everything one could want.

On arrival we received a friendly welcome to this inviting, comfortable and well appointed cottage in such peaceful surroundings.

We enjoyed the welcome pack and loved the little extras such as a goody bag for the dog. Being dog and horse lovers we loved all the dog and horse related items around the cottage thus we felt at home when Storm Henk prevented our getting out for a day. We thoroughly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning at some point.

Perfect place to chill out and enjoy wonderful walks with our dogs. Excellent cottage which had everything we needed and a great host.

Wow.

...what a wonderful hidden gem, idyllic setting and so peaceful, we did not want to leave and will most definitely be returning soon. Lovely place to relax and unwind with so many places to explore and of course the beautiful coastal path walks and variety of national trust places did not disappoint. So much to do for everyone and our three dogs particularly loved all the streams/river walks and moors for plenty of exercise. Such a warm welcome with wonderful treats for both us and the dogs on arrival, stunning cottage with everything you could possibly need to enjoy the perfect stay, missing horses already....thank you xx

This is the second time we have stayed at Bradley stables, its a lovely property very picturesque countryside and the owner and her staff are really nice helpful people.

We enjoyed a wonderful peaceful long weekend at tbe stables and will definitely be booking another trip there again soon.

Beautiful cottage with everything needed provided, amazing walks right from the accommodation through woodland paths along the river Barle to Withypool and Tarr steps. The host was really friendly and welcoming and provided some lovely treats on arrival, including fresh milk, homemade cake, wine and a doggy bag with treats and a toy for our 4 legged friend, very dog friendly. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and tbe river. Definitely worth a vist.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful setting, would suit all ages.

Especially good if party is keen on walking Exmoor from the property. Owner very helpful and friendly.

The cottage is beautiful and very nicely decorated.

The cottage is really well furnished and equipped and it’s in a superb position with wonderful walks on the doorstep.

The indoor pool is a real bonus too. We loved it!

We were really happy with the location, accomodation, layout, quality and cleanliness.

Had an amazing stay, the cottage had everything you needed.

The surrounding countryside is superb. Definitely would stay again.

We would stay here again as it ticked all the boxes as you can see from are feed back.

Are host was first class and very welcoming and was very dog friendly. Due to its location it was a great place for dark skies. Walking around the area was great as well.

To benefit us being able to book easily again I want to say we had a horrible time but that couldn't be further from the truth .

The property, location, owner and all staff were amazing. We had a taster menu of all weather but that did not distract from the restful time we had We made use of the pool after a day exploring. Happily recommend.
