We had a wonderful time staying at The Linhay, such a lovely location with great views.

The accommodation was immaculate and very well maintained. A well stocked kitchen has everything you need. Very comfy beds. Thank you Susan!

The Linhay is a lovely comfortable holiday home.

It’s ideal for getting to the north and south coasts, only an hour each way. Susan is lovely and very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future.

We had a warm welcome on arrival at The Linhay from the owner which was lovely.

The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views across the countryside and very well presented. There was everything that we needed for a perfect self catering holiday. The bedrooms were well set out and very comfortable. We found it most helpful having an ensuite on both rooms. The cleanliness of the whole property was brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay

Just Wow, the accommodation is amazing, immaculately clean and the two bedrooms with their own bathrooms made this perfect for our party.

Completely dog friendly the enclosed garden was brilliant for knowing our dog could wander in and out without worry, the fields behind the property owned by Susan made for safe dog walks. Cannot recommend enough.

Lindhay is a great find.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely comfortable, well equipped and is all on one level. It has a fenced garden, ideal for children or pets. We have stayed here twice and have booked again for next year. Highly recommended.

I don’t think we’ve ever stayed at a holiday home that is as complete as Linhay.

It has literally everything we wanted to be comfortable. A great location for getting around Devon. We have already started telling our friends about Linhay. Strong recommendation is you insist on top quality holiday accommodation.

Lovely bungalow dog friendly very clean, warm and so well equipped the best property we have ever stayed in Susan was a great host nothing to much trouble thank you.

The Linhay is just perfect for our needs - we have two dogs and the large enclosed garden was just the trick.

The cottage is new modern and has everything that you would need for a relaxing holday - Susan has thought about everything. We will be back in the future and cannot wait.

Susan was there to welcome us when we arrived, showed us around, answered any questions that we had. Super clean, can't fault anything. Very quiet and the dog's loved the extra fields to run around. Lovely neighbours.We had a beautiful week weather wise, out and about every day, plenty to see and do in the area. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Susan x

Beautiful place and lovely views over the countryside.

Enclosed garden large enough for our 2 dogs and a field available for longer walks. Central place for sightseeing. Sue the owner made you feel welcomed and could ask no more. We have already booked to come back as it was that nice.

Enjoyed our stay at the linhay, very spacious and had everything we needed, we enjoyed sitting out at night as no light pollution which made for a great display.

Pub only 5 mins walk down the hill serving homemade food. Susan was on hand for any issues that occurred. We would stay here again, hopefully In the future sometime. Thanks again.

The Linhay is one of the best properties we have rented it has everything you need from a well equipped kitchen to comfortable living area and lovely en-suite bathrooms for both bedrooms, the view from the living room is fantastic and it is so peaceful too.

Our host Susan made us feel very welcome and visited durning our stay to make sure that we had everything we needed which was a lovely gesture, If your looking for a quiet holiday with all the mod cons you need ,then the Linhay is definitely the place for you :)

Fabulous barn conversion (loved the before and after pictures) with amazing views over the Devon countryside.

One of the best places we have stayed. Very clean and well equipped. Dog friendly with a good secure large garden. Can recommend the Malt Scoop in the village, friendly staff and great food. Susan was a great host and made sure we had everything we would need for our stay. If we come down to Devon again would definitely look to stay here.

We were made very welcome on arrival, everything was as advertised and the accommodation was excellent, in fact it was so good we are considering returning next year.

Sue was a very helpful owner who welcomed us into her beautiful home which was situated in a scenic part of Devon.

Extremely clean and ideal for wheelchair use for my husband. Views of Dartmoor great for painting and photography was a bonus. Would definitely recommend staying at Linhay.

It is really hard to believe but this property is significantly better than it looks on screen.

Extremely roomy and clean the owner has gone above and beyond to provide everything you may need. Tucked a short way up a little lane it is quiet with picturesque views across the top of the village to the moors. As for location, it is quite central to Devon so easy to drive to both the north and south coasts for beach goers and within an hour of numerous National Trust properties. Would we recommend it, yes and are already planning to return within the year.

I think this has to be one of the best Properties we have stayed in.

The camera always seems to lie when taking photos of places but this one certainly didn't - the place is as spacious as the photos show. Unfortunately I am pretty much housebound & wheelchair dependent atm & The Linhay is perfect for people like me. The view from the Lounge area was gorgeous & the weather so unexpectedly lovely, we had the Bi-fold doors open most days. I didn't get into the Village but both my Mother & Partner said how nice it was & how welcoming the people were. The Pub is recommended by man & dog..:) Susan's is so welcoming & kind & deserves to go from strength to strength with her venture.

The Linhay was a great location to enjoy New Year with friends.

The accomodation is top quality and its access to the countryside and local pub made for a brilliant New Year's celebration. Susan was a great host and very helpful with local information and assistance. We would recommend this lovely property to anyone who wants great views in a quiet location.

We had a lovely stay at The Linhay, - a beautiful, clean property with lots of room, and located in a really quiet location.

Everything we could possibly need was provided, and nothing was too much trouble for the owner in ensuring we were comfortable and content. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for a really memorable day!

The only thing the owner came three times felt like she was checking up on the place normally don't see the owners and I've been on loads of holidays with Sykes saying that she was nice and friendly the place is 5 star has everything and is very very clean would recommend highly

The Linhay had everything we needed as a family of 4 with a large dog, and is one of the best holiday properties we've stayed in with everything finished to a very high quality. We enjoyed staying at the Linhay.

The accommodation was very spacious with everything you could need and more. The views were amazing, you could see Dartmoor in the distance. We found the beds very comfortable and ensuite bathrooms perfect with lovely powerful showers. The property was very clean. Susan was very welcoming and talked to us about the renovation of the Linhay which was very interesting. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A lovely property with a beautiful view of Devon.

The property was lovely and clean as well as being well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Our dog enjoyed the outside area which was well fenced in. Susan the owner was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this property 100%. Lapford is a lovely village with a very nice pub. A very relaxing stay would go back again.

The views were glorious and a lovely secure garden with access to a large meadow for walks. Lapford is a lovely village with a local pub serving good food. Susan the owner always at the end of the phone should you need anything. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing holiday and hope to go back there again. It was home from home.

Booked this holiday cottage back in December and we were not disappointed when we arrived in May After a warm welcome we spent a great week here with our dogs Great views from the living room Very homely living accommodation,well equipped kitchen with all the necessary items you could wish for and more Modern clean on suit bathrooms to both bedrooms All in all we would rate this holiday property 10 out of 10
