What guests are saying
The Bakers Arms is a lovely cottage to stay in.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, who even provided a baby gate at the front door so our dog could look out! The kitchen is very well equipped, even the little Tupperware tubs were handy for making up picnics. In a heatwave, the cottage stayed nice and cool and the fan helped keep us cool too. The gardens are lovely, with mature trees for plenty of shade, and our dog enjoyed all the different smells! It's well situated to explore the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, as well as Somerset to the north.
lovely old cottage, very pretty garden and village.
Hosts were very welcoming and thereafter, quietly available if needed. We loved the area and would highly recommend it
Really enjoyed our stay Cottage was cosy and had all that we needed plus information of the local pubs and walks - location is great for reaching Bridport, lyme regis and the coast easily the garden was really good, Tulip the pooch and the Missus really loved it and the owners were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to come away with a few cuttings from the garden
