The House That Moved is a fascinating 14th Century Tudor building. This quick but memorable stop gives you a brief glimpse into Exeter’s past. The original road this house was located on was demolished to make way for a new bypass road – so this house quite literally moved!
Believed to be Exeter’s oldest building, St Nicholas Priory is a medieval building that offers a fascinating glimpse into Exeter’s monastic past. It was founded in 1087 by William the Conqueror and has free entry every Sunday and Monday for the public. They also host a range of free events throughout the year.
