Moor Otters Art Trail Sculpture

The Moor Otters Art Trail is one of our favourite Dartmoor events, available from 28th May 2021, inviting people of all ages to explore the wild and rugged landscape of beautiful Dartmoor. A natural playground, experience different parts of this enticing moorland, from Chagford to Newton Abbot, to Okehampton and Plymouth, with a fun and creative twist.

About The Moor Otters Art Trail

Moor Otters Art Trail - Helpful Holidays Sculpture

The Moor Otters Art Trail has been created to provide fun-filled days out and raise money for conservation and access projects for Dartmoor National Park.

81 beautifully painted sculptures of otters and their cubs have been decorated by local and national artists. Hidden across Dartmoor and Plymouth, as well as gateway towns and villages, all you have to do is have fun finding them this summer.

Once the Moor Otters Art Trail has come to an end, the otters will be taken down to allow the otter-spotters and art collectors a chance to bid at auction for their favourite otters to take home! The money raised from this endeavour is donated to ‘Donate for Dartmoor’, a charity that focuses on conserving and enhancing Dartmoor as a vibrant, living and working landscape and community for people to enjoy for many years.
