Why visit Ashburton?
Ashburton is a small town on the south-east border of Dartmoor National Park. It is an ideal base for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities; events on offer include horse riding, climbing, canoeing, walking and cycling.

There are no fewer than ten antique shops to explore and some people even travel from abroad to find unusual and fascinating items. As well as antiques, there are also a number of galleries, book shops and excellent pubs and restaurants to eat and drink in.
