The Property

A mile from South Tawton in heavily wooded lanes, a huge, stunning house converted from handsome barns once serving the farmhouse as a grain store. It is attached to its residential neighbour and farming activities continue in 20th cent. open barns across the access lane. Enclosed lawned garden at back and front lawned garden with paved patio (table/chairs, barbecue). Inside, gorgeous, practical and very 21st cent. with mostly porcelain flooring downstairs. SOUTH TAWTON The small village of Sticklepath lies along an old ridgeway path within the northern boundary of the Dartmoor National Park, and is home to a handful of shops, two traditional pubs serving good food and the fascinating Museum of Rural Industry.
