Why visit East Portlemouth?
The small village of East Portlemouth is set on the Kingsbridge Estuary, on the south Devon coast. It is an ideal spot for anyone who loves the outdoors with a number of activities on offer. The estuary is a hub for watersports and beginners or experts can try sailing, kayaking or paddleboarding. There are a number of small beaches that have all won Safe Bathing status - perfect for families with small children who want to splash about in the clear blue waters. Keen walkers can follow the South West Coast Path to Prawle Point, the southernmost point in Devon. Enjoy stunning views out to sea and keep an eye out for birds, such as cirl buntings, nesting on the cliffs.
