Reviews

    • “The double bed in the house was very uncomfortable. Way too soft and gave me Back ache and disturbed sleep. Others have made the same observation in the comments book. Suggest consideration is given to replacing. Shaving light not working in upstairs bathroom. Overall though the property was very nice and a good base for a lovely week exploring Cornwall, our children loved the pool. Maybe an event could be organised every week on the estate to bring holidaymakers together as estate is a bit sterile, e.g bbq”

    Mr Barron, CHIPPENHAM, August 2018

    • “Absolutely loved our stay at Bramble Cottage which was clean, comfortable and tidy. The beach is at the bottom of the steep drive which is a 5 minute walk. The beach was clean (although a fair amount of seaweed, but don't let that put you off) and the water was calm and felt very safe to swim in. The wifi was good, although a little glitchy at times. The swimming pool, table tennis and pool table were all great and the staff were lovely. We took a walk along the coastal path to Swanpool which took about 30 minutes where we found another beautiful beach. Whilst the pool had a small selection of ready cooked meals, chocolate and biscuits, there was no shop within walking distance for essentials ie milk and bread.”

    Mrs Spencer, GLOUCESTER, August 2018

    • “We really enjoyed our holiday and thought the small touches added to the experience i.e. the milk in fridge and tea and biscuits etc... We had a minor problem with the fridge door and only found the information folder when we were tidying up to leave it had been put with a group of games that we did not use but this did not detract from a very enjoyable week. Would definitely use you again - we have come away with lots of lovely memories of our visit to Maenporth. Thankyou the Winstone family.”

    Mrs Winstone, Langport, June 2018

    • “We had a fantastic holiday at bramble cottage. It was lovely and clean the staff happy and helpful and the estate was well maintained and really pretty. We loved the leisure centre, great fun. It would be better if it was open a little later than 7.30pm though. The WiFi wasn’t brilliant it stopped working sporadically, but not too much of a problem. Also some privacy window coverings in the bedrooms would be helpful so you don’t have to have the curtains closed when changing. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommend it. Thank you.”
