Along a country lane on the edge of the tranquil hamlet of Dunkeswell Abbey, half a barn converted into an interesting, rustic-looking, wood-clad cottage, light and airy inside. Good-sized garden (table/chairs, barbecue) overlooking the owner’s apple orchard and small field. Inside, little glass-panelled lobby; pine-floored, L-shaped living/dining room with TV/DVD, iPod dock and French windows to terrace and garden; well-equipped modern kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave, freezer, larder fridge, electric cooker) with stable doors to terrace; bathroom (suite with separate shower). Stairs up to small landing (5'6" headroom), off which two bedrooms under the eaves, both overlooking the garden and with limited clothes-hanging space - a double with low sloping ceilings and Velux window, and a twin with dormer window; loo (5'8" lintel, sloping ceiling). Outside is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, sink and space for your bicycles. Spring water. A beautiful, peaceful place in which to relax.
