Badgers Way

We had a very relaxing break.

I am a Nurse manager and my husband a Farmer. We were looking for somewhere where we could relax and enjoy a break. Badgers way fulfilled this and more. Simon and Sarah are a lovely couple very suited to hosting as they have the balance of a warm welcome and leaving us to do our own thing. The cottage is immaculate, comfortable and has all you need. We ate out and cooked. Therefore, the cottage has all that we needed. A big shout out however to Simon who helped with a flat tyre. Many thanks Simon and Sarah.

A wonderful cottage, with plenty of space, everything provided that you could need, including an airfryer, there were some lovely sunsets in the evening from the lounge window.

Sarah and Simon were very helpful, If there was any problem they were only next door. The only thing we found tricky was getting the car in and out due to the other the cars parked just outside that made it difficult to turn round. A lovey pleasant stay

The cottage is in a lovely setting within easy walking distance of Tintagel.

On the bus route for easy access to other towns and local attractions. We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was lovely relaxing on the comfortable garden furniture, especially watching the sun go down - it was the perfect way to end each day. Thank you Simon and Sarah, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Badgers Way was really clean and comfortable and it had everything I needed throughout my stay.

The hosts Sarah and Simon couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they had very good knowledge of the area. The cottage was very well situated, within walking distance of the centre of Tintagel and on a local bus route. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Excellent cottage in a perfect location to explore the North Cornish coast.

The cottage has a lovely patio with views across to the sea at Tintagel. It was very comfortable and had everything needed for a restful stay. It was handy having the owners next door, especially when we couldn't work the oven! They were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We were met by the owner on arrival who welcomed us and gave us lots of information about the property and local information about what to see and do.

The property was very nice, well maintained and equipped and comfortable. A good sunny terrace at the rear overlooking a large garden complete with dining area and furniture. Very quiet, just perfect. Easy to find, easy to park, just a short walk to the village and quickly onto the SW path via Back Lane

The property was exactly as we expected when we booked.

Good location to explore that area of Cornwall and also a good location for walking into Tintagel for a meal or drink. Good quality accommodation with great hosts who were very friendly and gave good advice of where to visit. The bonus was the great weather we had during our stay

Cottage very clean and the view from the decking amazing and could just see the sea in the distance. Great location for access to costal paths and walking distance to shops and good places to eat. A very comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage.

The outlook was lovely with a well maintained garden and distant sea views. We particularly liked the large shower and the heated bathroom mirror. The owners were friendly and helpful. A great base to explore local footpaths and the coastal path. Several good pubs and cafes within a 15 minute walk. Very peaceful at nighttime.

The accommodation was comfortable, cosy and stylish and the hosts Simon and Sarah are lovely. Tintagel is a good base with plenty of places to eat in the village and lots to see and do in the area.

We had a great stay in Badgers Way.

The property is light and airy with plenty of space for 2 people including lots of storage space and a large bathroom and shower cubicle and good kitchen space. There's also a large smart TV and WiFi. The property is attached to the owner's home but they were unobtrusive. Sarah seemed very friendly and helpful when we did speak to her. We didn't really use the outside space due to the time of year but you might feel very close to their garden sitting out in the summer. We didn't see a lot of the dogs who when we did see them were friendly and not particularly noisy (mind the dog pooh on the driveway - it was cleared up fairly promptly). The property is in a quiet location on the edge of Tintagel (down a little unmade track) but an easy walk to the village (pubs, cafes, shops) / castle / coast path. If you like walking, do go and visit St Nectans Glen and the Rocky Valley. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend.

Fabulous holiday cottage, a lot of thought taken to decorate and equip the cottage to a high standard.

Like a home from home. Good location for walking the coastal path and into Tintagel. As off season, not a lot to do in Tintagel until Wednesday to Sunday, but plenty in the surrounding areas. Simon and Sarah very friendly and available to answer any queries you may have. An extremely relaxing week to celebrate my birthday. Sharon and Kevin

Lovely lounge/kitchen with views to the garden and sea in the distance. Plenty of storage and well equipped. Spacious bedroom and large bathroom with great walk in shower. A really well thought out property, with Sarah and Simon on hand next door for any queries and information. Tintagel is a lovely village, with some good pubs/ restaurants in easy walking distance and two small food stores. It’s a good base for local attractions and walks and also to visit North Cornwall and Bodmin Moor. All in all, a great stay!

We had a lovely stay and the property has everything you need.

It is well situated within easy walking distance of the town and for bus routes and access to the coastal path. There is a shop within ten minutes walk for supplies and nice pubs. The kings arms does a lovely breakfast and nice food.

The cottage is perfect for a good getaway, it is furnished beautifully and has everything you would want including good WiFi and parking.

Everything you could think you needed was available. THe amenities in the kitchen area were exceptional. The hosts were very helpful, if needed ,but left us to our privacy and enjoyment of our holiday. I would have no hesitation on recommending Badgers Way to family and friends.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in dem Appartement von Sarah und Simon.

Zur Ankunft erwarteten uns Tee, Kaffee und Kekse und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Morgens guckt die Sonne zum Küchenfenster rein und abends scheint sie bis zum Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, was uns abgesehen vom gemütlichen Bett gut schlafen ließ. Eine Espressomaschine, Wanderführer, etc. waren tolle Dinge, die uns den Aufenthalt noch mehr versüßten. Großartig waren Sarah und Simon, die unglaublich nett, offen, zuvorkommend und rücksichtsvoll sind. Angenehmer können Besitzer, die gleich nebenan wohnen, nicht sein! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!

The location is ideal for both walking the coastal paths and for restaurants. Furthermore, Sarah and Simon are perfect hosts, being respectful of privacy but also being on hand to answer questions. It is in a perfect location in Tintagel with many local attractions and nice restaurants and pubs. It is also a good base to explore the rest of Cornwall with numerous beautiful beaches and walks. Lovely location with easy access to all of Cornwalls beautiful towns and villages. Ideal if you want to walk the coastal path. The village is wonder and has plenty of amenities.We will definitely be visiting again.

Everything was spot on

A lovely property, extremely clean and well equipped.

A short walk into Tintagel where there are plenty of places for food and drink. Also walkable to Tintage Castle and coastal walks. Owners on hand if you have any enquiries and were very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Had a great stay at Badgers Way, all you need was there.

There was scones jam and cream for us on arrival, a nice touch. We were greeted by the friendly owners Sarah and Simon who gave us an insight to the area. There's plenty of pubs restaurants and shops within 10 mins walk. Padstow and Port Isaac are worth a visit being famous for Rick Stein and Doc Martin respectively. We can highly recommend a stay at Badgers Way. This is a new venture for Sarah and Simon and we wish them all the best for the future.

5 stars all the way for Simon and Sarah, Badgers way exceeded all expectations, location is spot on, a great base to go from to all the wonderful places in Cornwall, a walkers paradise, we will return.

Brilliant location - quiet, yet only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Tintagel. Property itself is beautifully laid out and has everything needed for a great holiday. Highly recommended.

Beautiful accommodation, we had the most wonderful stay for our honeymoon.

Hosts were truly fantastic and couldn’t do more for us! The scones left in the annexe were lovely and we were also gifted a bottle of wine when we mentioned we’d got married the weekend before. Highly recommend for anybody’s visit. The place is even better than the photos. Many thanks to Sara and Simon.
