  • “The owner was excellent with communication and flexibility changing dates & agreeing to add family members to the group at short notice.”

The listing would benefit from explaining that there is little privacy in the front garden during high tide daylight hours as the quayside is a hive of activity. We decided not to bring our two dogs and we’re very glad as it was a dig busy area so there would’ve been a lot of extra barking. The listing would benefit from explaining that there is little privacy in the front garden during high tide daylight hours as the quayside is a hive of activity. We decided not to bring our two dogs and we’re very glad as it was a dig busy area so there would’ve been a lot of extra barking. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed however the ground floor bedrooms have a musty, damp smell despite leaving windows open as requested. The mattresses are also rather tired, as also the fabric of the living room sofas and armchair. They seemed to take up a lot of space and one was very uncomfortable so I used the bedroom upstairs to sit in. This didn’t detract too much from our stay as the weather was so good whilst the views and waterside options are the location’s strongest point. It was a heatwave that week but the property would benefit from more than the one small cooling fan. For these reasons I feel that the property is a little over-priced and wouldn’t accommodate six adults comfortably. We were only three adults so it was adequate. The paintings were lovely and the views fabulous.
