Hoppers Barn

We had a gorgeous week long stay at Hopper’s Barn.

The accommodation is beautiful, nice and quiet and amongst nature. It has lots of space for families and furry friends to relax and have fun. The amenities were also great - super comfy beds and, the main event, a fantastic coffee machine. Adam, Tracey and their gorgeous dog Tess were a delight and made us feel extremely welcomed. The barn is a bit remote, but only a short drive from Bude. Also within reasonable driving distance to spots like Tintagel and Port Isaac. We had lots of fun exploring different spots along the coast! Overall, a fantastic stay!

Hoppers Barn is wonderful.

Very generous gifts on arrival and a warm welcome. Although the weather wasn’t wonderful, we saw plenty of wildlife in and around the garden . It’s very heartening to find a garden designed and managed for both people and wildlife.

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Hoppers Barn in Pancrasweek.

We were lucky enough to book last minute, and with the glorious weather it turned into the perfect little getaway. The barn itself is immaculate! Beautifully modern while still full of charm and character. Even during the warm weather, the bedrooms stayed lovely and cool which made sleeping so comfortable. The bean-to-cup coffee machine deserves a special mention too because it genuinely made the best coffee we’ve ever had! We were also lucky enough to use the Big Green Egg BBQ and wow… it’s incredible. Such a great addition to an already amazing stay. Tracey was so friendly, accommodating, and patient throughout. I managed to completely miss things on the guest app more than once, but she was always happy to help over text and made everything feel easy and relaxed. And of course, Tess the retriever completely stole our hearts — gorgeous, playful, and full of mischief

We cannot praise Hoppers Barn highly enough.

The accommodation was spacious and very well equipped. It really did have that home away from home feel. There was a lovely garden for Callie (our German Shepherd) to mooch around. The enclosed woodland attached to the farm was a beautiful place to enjoy nature on early morning walks. You will need your car to enjoy the area. But for a peaceful break close to wonderful coastal walks this place is a 10/10. Special thanks to Adam, Tracey and Tess for making the three of us so welcome. This is definitely on our list of places to return to.

Hoppers Barn is a real gem of a place to stay.

The location is perfect, quiet but close to amenities. The barn itself is stunning. The owners have thought of everything: the sound system and bean to cup coffee machine were very welcome additions. Access to an EV charger is a huge plus and the owners are lovely. Ive already booked to return next year.

Hoppers Barn is an absolute gem, nestled between Bude and Holsworthy, and close to the Devon/Cornwall border, it is an excellent base for exploring places and attractions in both counties.

Tracey and Adam are wonderful hosts and made sure that our stay was perfect. The barn itself offers plenty of space, great facilities and has far reaching views across the local countryside. It also has its own self-contained garden, with fire-pit, barbecue, and seating area. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!

Tracey and Adam are so lovely and welcoming, and the property is in such a beautiful, peaceful spot which is perfect if you need to take time out to relax and watch the wonderful wildlife in the area. Our son has additional needs and we spent some mornings/afternoons just at the property - there's lots of board/card games and books to keep the family entertained, and it was just lovely to stay there and relax as a family. The property itself is set within an enclosed garden which is perfect if you have young children or dogs, and the barn itself was absolutely impeccable. The beds were super comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was super well equipped (even more than ours at home!) We have already recommended the place to family and friends.

The ow era have done extensive work on the garden which is lovely to sit and relax. We had a toddler and dog with us and it was perfect for them to play and explore. Location for us was perfect, we have a nervous dog, there were plenty of good walks at the property, but we were close enough to drive anywhere we wa ted too.

The very spacious and tastefully furnished cottage offers everything you could wish for. Tracey and Adam - the owners - are hospitable and very helpful. We highly recommend Hoppers Barn. Next time, hopefully, we'll include the sourdough bakery, which Adam hopes to run in the future.

Just back from a four night stay at Hoppers Barn.

What a lovely place, the barn has everything you need as a home from home. We visited with my daughter and husband and a 2 year old and a 6 week old. We were greeted by the owners and the loveliest golden retriever. They had not long finished landscaping the garden which was lovely. Really comfy beds which is always a bonus. The open plan upstairs was a god send with a lively 2 year old and very safe, especially finding his fav film within the dvds (cloudy with meatballs 2) was a great relief to us adults. Really lovely walks around the farmland and pond area which our grandson and dog loved. The owners are so lovely and we wish them all the success in this beautiful rental. Within reach of many lovely places so would Highly recommend.

Gorgeous property in a lovely quiet location but still easy to reach local towns and beaches in around 15 minutes.

Great facilities in property and owners on hand and friendly. Our dog loved all the space to run through fields and woodland.

Very comfortable beds and everything you need, home from home. Very swift replies from Adam the owner and I had the pleasure of meeting him while he was collecting the escapee chickens! I couldn’t recommend this property enough and will look at booking again next time we want to visit the area.

Great space, very comfortable and with easy access to some great nature walks.

Isolated for peace and quiet, but within easy reach to pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and beaches. It's my 2nd time there, and look forward to return.

Very comfortable barn conversion.

Underfloor heating kept the property nice and warm. We were a party of four adults and two young children and had plenty of room. Everything is good quality and the owners Tracey and Adam are close by and we're very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time.

A beautiful and tranquil location with woodland walks from the door.

Beaches within a 20 minute drive. Perfect for visiting North Devon and Cornwall. Dog friendly with a secure garden. Our puppy loved chasing the daddy-long-legs through the long grass! Clean and tidy kitchen with dining/living area well presented. We loved the comfy sofas and the wood burner for chilly evenings. The bedrooms were cosy with super comfy beds, and we were provided with beautifully scented organic toiletries in the bathrooms. We really enjoyed the welcoming hamper of goodies championing local produce – especially the sour dough bread (thank you Adam) and eggs, laid on the farm. Will be back again!

Property was situated in a lovely quiet spot with a really nice picnic spot by the pond just around the corner.

The owners were very friendly and the basket of local produce was a really nice touch, especially the bread! The property itself is spacious and well provisioned and the kids loved the mezzanine balcony as a place to play / relax. Bude is not too far away, has some great beaches especially just outside the town and we were well placed for the section of rugged coast leading down to Boscastle and Tintagel etc. Would definately stay again.

The owners were brilliant and very helpful and informative. The homemade bread was amazing as we're the fresh eggs. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely barn conversion in a quiet setting.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Owners welcoming but unobtrusive, who left a thoughtful welcome pack, fresh milk, eggs, bread and honey. Despite poor weather we had a great time and will definitely go again.

Wow!

What an absolutely beautiful, bright and peaceful place. We felt at home as soon as we stepped through the door. A thoughtful welcome basket of home-made and locally produced goodies, flowers, shower gel and shampoo in bathrooms, hairdryers and a selection of games and books. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and great showers, A meadow and woodland walk within the grounds where you can listen to the buzzing of bees, chirping of birds and a cricket symphony whilst meeting wildlife including various species of butterflies and tiny toad offspring. The perfect base to explore Devon and Cornwall’s stunning coastline and beaches. We are a family of 6 adults and a dog and this place ticked all our boxes and provided plenty of space for all. I would definitely recommend a holiday here.

As a group of 5 we found Hoppers Barn to be spacious and clean.

We enjoyed our week stay with the quiet surroundings and short car commute to Bude and beaches. Our hosts Tracey and Adam made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the goodie pack we found on our arrival. A pleasant stay was had by all, we will be returning.

Dogs made welcome. Beds very comfortable. Best log burner we have used. Lovely touch with a welcome basket on arrival WiFi and phone signal patchy. Highly recommend

This must be the most tranquil place I've ever stayed at, nothing but birdsong to be heard in the grounds and woodland.

Beautiful property, owners are new and really tried to help with any issue.

The location is fab if you want to get away from it all as it’s remote. Reduced Wi-Fi could have made things difficult if I had children who rely on it. There was some teething problems with the heating but hosts tried to fix this and did offer more logs to burn and electric heaters. We had a fab week and would use this venue again if we stayed in the same area again in the future
