Nanvivian

Nanvivian is a wonderful cottage in a fantastic location, with Loe beach at the bottom of the garden.

We had a lovely week with our grandchildren, our daughter and her Labrador, exploring the Fal estuary and the beautiful Roseland Heritage Coast. The grandchildren would have been very happy just staying around the cottage on the beach, spending their days paddle boarding and Kayaking. Having the Loe Beach Watersports Centre right nearby was great, the staff were very helpful. Waking up in Nanvivian cottage was so relaxing. To hear only the water rolling up on the beach, the seagulls, and the occasional group of wild swimmers chatting as they made their way across the bay. We often found ourselves just sitting in the bedroom window, captured by the view. The stay was very comfortable and the owners, who live nearby were always available if we needed them. And the welcome pack and fresh flowers placed in the cottage were a very nice touch. We will certainly be returning as soon as we can. The Hollands Family.

Can’t recommend it highly enough. Beautiful sea views. Hosts had left flowers in every room and even a bottle of Prosecco, scones with jam and clotted cream. Simply wonderful experience. Can’t wait to return. The only thing is nervous drivers should be aware that part of the approach road is steep and narrow down to Loe Beach.

Lovely house to stay in, near the beach which my wife and daughter loved as they could go for a swim.

Nice conservatory to sit in, eat our meals and look at the garden and view. Comfortable beds and big bedrooms. Really appreciated the welcoming scones, cream and jam and the bowl of fruit.

Our third stay in Nanvivian and it never fails to delight.

The setting is what we book for and the cottage just makes the perfect accommodation to enjoy Loe Beach at its best. Extremely comfortable and relaxing.

Yet another wonderful holiday at Nanvivian was had by all! In spite of the weather, which was more Mad March than Flaming June, we got out and about with even a trip on the kayaks from Loe Beach Watersports with our grandson! It is so peaceful here and the birdlife in the garden is delightful. And the view! Always the same but ever changing; you can while away hours drinking in the comings and goings of tides and boats. A very happy place!

Good to have wi fi at the property this year, there were a couple of evenings it didn't work ;that wasn't an issue for us but might be for others.

The property hosts were superb, v friendly & super helpful, readily available to resolve if we had any minor issue or request. To be honest it was easier dealing with them direct prior to our holiday than Sykes, as I waited ages on phone to get thro to request any changes to our booking... but I will add that once I did get thro the Sykes customer representatives were also v friendly & helpful

We were familiar with the property and it was dead-cert that we'd enjoy the same facility as previously known to us.

Important to us was the position, outlook and 'homeliness' that it afforded, preferring its very fit-for-purpose above "luxe" accom. nd "bloatware". Four of us made the stay, and it gave us the peace and locale we like. It's off a private road and parking is on property driveway. A great stay!
