    • “The farmhouse was absolutely perfect for our group of 13! It was spacious, warm and contained everything you could possibly need. The kids (age 2-7) especially loved having their own 'kids tv/play room'. It's also in a very pretty setting with a secure garden. Amazing beach close by, (steep walk down but worth it) free parking in owners field. Mount Edgcumbe House is 10 minutes away and a great place to walk, bike ride and take in amazing views. The owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend this accommodation to large groups, especially with kids. Excellent!!!”

    Mrs Waghorn, DORKING, October 2018

    • “Fantastic large rural cottage perfect for the large family group. Located in a quiet country settling but close to village shops and pubs. Excellent fishing on the estate was a bonus.”

    Mr Cook, NUNEATON, September 2018

    • “Comfortable, welcoming house, good size, good location - within walking distance of beach and village.”

    Mr Ellis, Ross-on-Wye, September 2018

    • “The house was very homey and comfy. The only thing it lacked was a pair of kitchen scissors!! Could've done with them on several occasions.”

    Mrs Arthur, HORSHAM, August 2018

    • “In most respects Tregonhawke was ideal for our family group of 10 including 3 children aged 6 to 8. The house is amply equipped with cutlery, crockery and utensils although we wished there was a larger saucepan for cooking purposes. The house was spacious and meant that everyone could find a quiet area if needed and the children enjoyed the playroom. My main suggestion, which will be easy to do, is to improve the wi-fi connectivity around the house by using extenders. We found that having internet availability only in the kitchen was inconvenient. The location is extremely quiet with excellent garden space for the children to play. On the few occasions we needed advice from the owners we found them friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied.”

    Mr Jelbert, SHERBORNE, July 2018

    • “Farmhouse was wonderful. All 10 adults 2 children and 2 infants fitted in with plenty of room for everyone. All enjoyed their holiday saying best ever. Owner lived next door and was very friendly and helpful”

    Mrs Gibbons, EASTBOURNE, June 2018

Regional Information

MILLBROOK Whitsand Bay 1 mile; Plymouth 8 miles. Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.

  • Note: Beach parking available in owner's field above Whitsand Bay, by arrangement. 'Day care' for dogs available. Arrival after 4pm. This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £250
