Swift Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay, we had a well stocked kitchen with all tools we required, including a dishwasher and microwave.

A nice patio to eat out at, couldn't fault it.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.

We enjoyed the table tennis too. Almost everything we needed including dishwasher tablets, grater etc. You’ll need to bring your own oil & tea towel. Lots of visitor leaflets on local attractions. Close to the fabulous seal sanctuary, pretty Porthleven & not far from the delicious Roskilly’s. 2 minor issues; the shower was noisy (but great temp/pressure) & the recycling was confusing. I think I put all recycling in the landfill bin.

No complaints, the owner was very nice and helpful when needed. Great place for young children to play in the field and enjoy the outdoor space. Highly recommended and would go back.

10/10, we loved our stay in the Swift Cottage, it was super comfortable, with all the amenities you need especially for kids (bed guard, stair barrier, high chair even a small stool to brush teeth!

) ! Sarah is absolutely lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great to explore Cornwall, with all the main sights within a 30 min to 1h drive max, overall it was perfect!

A delightful homely cottage and would love to return!

Thoughtfully well stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting/dining area. We so appreciated all the comprehensive booklets, historical information and maps available in the sitting room. It is a superb position to use as a base for exploring this wonderful area. Thank you for really enjoyable stay and for our welcome goodies + flowers!

Our stay at swift cottage was wonderful!

It was perfectly peaceful and the sunsets were stunning. The cottage was exceptionally clean, very spacious and comfortable. Sarah was SO lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be back time and time again!! Ali and Tim

Comfortable, cosy cottage, Well equipped with thoughtful personal extras.

Private courtyard. Shared playroom and huge garden area with play equipment and woodland walk. Great for the grandchildren. Sarah and Jem, excellent hosts.

Een gezellige zeer complete vakantiewoning.

Echter voor iemand die de 196 cm lang is is de woning wel wat laag en het tweepersoonsbed te kort. De banken in de gezellige woonkamer zijn nogal doorgezakt. De gastvrouw vonden wij erg attent. Zo stond er bijvoorbeeld melk en water in de koelkast. Koffie, thee, melk en suiker, chocolademelk en zelfs koekjes stonden klaar. Vanuit het huisje is binnen een half uur rijden heel veel moois te zien.

She also provided a lot of information on the area which was very useful. The kitchen was very well equipped and bed very comfortable. The TV and WI Fi reception were good. The cottage was very quiet…only bird song!

Sarah and Jem were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is the perfect place to relax after busy days out - but still a lovely, quiet, relaxing place to spend the whole day. We look forward to staying here again soon :)

A lovely two bedroom property, at a wonderful location, in a beautiful part of the country.

The owners are lovely. Lots to do locally with great beaches, Roskilly’s ice cream farm with food, animals and ice cream, Seal Sanctuary and wonderful walks. Mudgeon Vean has a play shed and large open space for children. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely cosy cottage with all the equipment you could need, including logs and instructions how to light the fire for a novice like me!

My girls loved the playroom with the table tennis and the play area on the green, as well as going to collect eggs with Sarah, who was such a friendly helpful host. Honestly can't fault the place. Had a great time. Its a perfect position for exploring the furthest points of the south west. We would love to return when the weather is a little better.

The owners were warm, welcoming and helpful.

They clearly want to do all they can to provide a lovely space for their visitors. The house had all you could hope for and the grounds are perfect, especially with little children.

This is a very well equipped, comfortable and quiet cottage.

Beautiful surroundings, very rural location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. This is a real cornish cottage retreat from busy city life, but only 6 miles from Helston Town. Its a perfect base to explore the Helford River, The Lizard and Western Cornwall with all the beautiful country and coastal walks along with spectacular beaches and coves to explore.

We had a wonderful holiday in Swift cottage.

It was very peaceful, comfortable. Sarah and Jem were so friendly and helpful. The cottage was generously equipped and lots of treats were awaiting us when we arrived. Would highly recommend this holiday home.

We had a lovely relaxing week at Swift Cottage!

It had everything we needed and was set in a lovely quiet location. Sarah and Jem were very friendly and even took my son to feed the chickens & ducks and collect eggs! We would love to come back and stay again!

Our stay at Swift Cottage was wonderful.

We got a lovely warm welcome from the owner Sarah on arrival and whenever we saw her on the farm. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything about the cottage was well thought out and it was well equipped. The cottage is on a lovely working farm with animals and we enjoyed one of the owners cats coming by everyday, he was so friendly. I will be recommending this accommodation to family & friends. I can honestly say it made our Cornish holiday perfect and it really helped having such a lovely person as the owner :)

The area was lovely. Think the cottage was a bit too small though for a family of 4. It could do with a few updates to make the experience more comfortable for guests.

We have just returned from a lovely week at Swift Cottage.

This was one of the best equipped and most thoughtfully laid out cottages we've stayed in and we were most comfortable. The cottage is cosy, tastefully furnished and has plenty of space for a family, including a pretty courtyard garden with BBQ. The location on Mudgeon Vean farm was also a real highlight with plenty to do on site, from the play area, games room with table tennis and local walks. Sarah the owner was most helpful and is a very experienced holiday cottage host. I particularly appreciated the very full and detailed visitor information guide and library of tourist information provided.

Swift cottage had everything we needed plus a few we would not have thought of. Beautiful location to base ourselves whilst we explored the area. Some fantastic beaches to visit nearby Praa Sands being our favourite.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area.

Very quiet and peaceful. The walk around the farm is lovely and also the orchards. There are so many wild flowers and bees. We didn't have children with us but this is a good holiday for those with young children as there is much to keep them occupied. Owner was very helpful. Would definitely book again.

The cottage was excellent and very homely.

Having to have days out cut short by the weather didn't spoil the day because staying at the cottage was so relaxing.

Cottage very comfortable with well-thought out layout, and very well stocked kitchen and welcoming tea, milk, biscuits and juice. Beautiful setting and plenty of space for children to play with safe playground. Slept very well !

I stayed at swift cottage with my partner and two young children for a week.

I can honestly not fault anything! We had such a brilliant holiday, the owners were so accommodating and brilliant with the children too.. the kids especially enjoyed collecting the eggs the chickens had laid with Sarah! The cottage was spotless, beds comfy, and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and the children loved the playroom & outdoor play facilities. We will most definitely return again soon!
