Great location with fantastic views

A beautiful apartment with wonderful views.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we required. The housekeeper Denise was very helpful and friendly, coming out quickly to sort out problem with television. We did find the seating in the lounge area uncomfortable and difficult to cope with but otherwise we have no criticisms.

This property was perfect, it was so clean and comfortable with an amazing location.

Views over the beach and harbour made for a fantastic morning coffee and evening drink. Apartment had everything you need but plenty of nice bars/restaurants around the town if you don’t want to stay in.

Property details need to clearly state there are the equivalent of 3 flights of stairs up to apartment.

Making it unsuitable for some. I expected there to be space around the twin beds requested there was not. We had to split them. The idyllic balcony is a firing range for seagulls, on arrival Windows and furniture splattered, and together with 3 very sad looking planters not very inviting. No point of a washing machine without adequate drying facility. The owners have retained out dated and unnecessary Covid precautions. We were asked to strip beds, wipe down surfaces and take a heavy bag full of linen down three flights of stairs together with rubbish bags. Makes it easier for cleaners I suppose but not what we've experienced in other properties. To sum up high spec apartment that doesn't lend itself easily as a holiday rental. and overall experience disappointing.

The property was exactly as described and was full of high quality furnishings and items throughout.

Some lovely touches such as the scones and cream on arrival and the picnic basket and binoculars, although we had taken our own as I enjoy watching activity out at sea. The blankets were really useful too as although it was lovely and sunny, it did get a little chilly when the sun was setting so these were handy to wrap up in. It’s on the 3rd floor which was a struggle on the first day with the luggage but absolutely worth it and no problem for the rest of the week. Really close to supermarkets and the town centre with everything in walking distance and close to some lovely places to eat. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfy, we both slept soundly for the whole week, annoyed at myself for not seeing which make of mattress is on the bed! Kitchen well equipped with all that you would need with lovely crockery and glasses, again very evident of the high quality. If I was going to have to say a negative, and this would be me just being very bloody picky, the toilet stand in the en-suite was corroded and the seagulls leave a lot of deposits on the furniture on the balcony. Cushions are provided which we used but brought in when not in use to prevent further deposits landing. There was also plenty of cleaning equipment and products so we gave everything a clean down but being on a cliff top the inevitable is inevitably going to happen. This did not spoil our stay at all but thought I’d mention it for anyone who may not appreciate our feathered friends. We loved this place so much with the views and the sunsets we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be looking to book again. Thank you Rebecca and Denise.

The View is a beautiful place to stay , as the name suggests the view is incredible .

The accommodation is a really lovely and relaxing place to stay . It’s funky decor is great and doesn’t come at the expense of comfort .The sofas and beds are extremely comfortable and excellent correspondence with Denise who was very helpful.

The flat was lovely and we enjoyed it very much but the stairs were very difficult for older people to carry everything upstairs for a holiday.

The view is amazing and everything in the flat was exceptional but we probably wouldnt stay again.

Lovely place.

View is stunning. Sea is at back and balcony is accessible from lounge and main bedroom. Front door side is the high street with aldi very close as well as restaurants etc. Town is a few minutes walk after aldi. Denise the property manager was fantastic. Well equipped kitchen.

The flat was really lovely.

The view was stunning and location was just right. Good contact with the owners whilst there.

We had the most amazing time at 'The View' on entering the property we were blown away with the fabulous views and balcony area, the apartment had everything that you needed for a wonderful stay.

We were lucky as apartment was due to be ready at 16.00 but we received a text at 13.00 to say it was ready and available, which was fabulous. We had excellent communication between ourselves, the owner and housekeeper. We will definitely be back, can highly recommend the accommodation.

We travelled to Newquay by train and this apartment was perfect with the station being just across the road.

It was very comfortable and so well placed for all the facilities Newquay had to offer. Two big supermarkets, Great Western beach and a bus/land train stop are within a couple of minutes walk. We caught a direct bus to Tintagel one day which was well worth a visit. The view from The View is absolutely stunning, we just couldn't stop admiring it! The Cornish cream tea waiting in the fridge for us on arrival was also a lovely touch. Many thanks to Denise the housekeeper who was so friendly and always on hand via text to help with any questions we had.

The View is an outstanding apartment with high quality fixtures to complement a brilliant view which can be enjoyed from the dining table or the balcony.

It’s just mesmerising to sit and watch the ebb and flow of the tides and the setting sun. The beds are very comfortable and two en suites are such a bonus. Very convenient for local shops and restaurants. We found the bus network very handy for coastal walks all along the coastline. The owner and housekeeper are so helpful and friendly. I wish I could transport this apartment to other locations

Second time we have stayed at The View.

Despite December weather was awesome and the storm lashing the apartment with the waves fighting the shore and us all tucked up watching it happen through the large front windows - with a view of Fistral Beach shouting at us to acknowledge its splendour - can't be replaced or outdone. The owner (Rebecca) and overall Apartment manager (Denise) are as helpful as can be and - basically it just works. Never felt so welcome and looked after. If you like the sea and a world class view then you need to find a week out of your schedule.

This apartment is amazing we came here for our honeymoon absolutely loved it the view is amazing loved being on that balcony and we got cream tea and a bottle of prosecco for our honeymoon the palace has every thing u need I can't wait to go back again when we get chance it is very central too

The apartment was in a perfect location over looking the bay we couldn't ask for a better view when sitting/standing on the balcony it was amazing and the sunsets were something special.

The apartment was very spacious with everything in the apartment in great condition. The only small negative and it is small is that the cleanliness could be a little better, mainly in the kitchen area, some of the cupboard doors and inside some of the cupboards were a little dirty. Apart from this small issue I would fully recommend this apartment to others.

“The View” what an appropriate name for such a fantastic apartment, when walking into the main room we were blown away by the view of the sea.

Our only minor criticism was that the bedding was all feather pillows and quilts, something that I should have checked before booking as this hampered our stay. Cleaning could be improved as it was found that in places dust was evident and had not been wiped for some time. In the main a fantastic apartment in a good location.

Our second visit to this immaculate apartment and of all the holiday rentals we have experienced over the years in multiple marvellous locations, both in the UK and abroad, it simply cannot be surpassed!

Regardless of glorious views, it's rare for a holiday apartment to feel like a home away from home but the delightful owner, Rebecca, has created exactly that in The View! Denise, the most amazing housekeeper on the planet, is worthy of a huge shout-out and not only maintains the apartment to the highest standard of cleanliness and convenience, but a kinder and more helpful lady you couldn't hope to meet. The only issue we would have is that The View has been awarded a Sykes 'Silver' Award as opposed to 'Gold'!! Thank you for an amazing holiday, Rebecca, Steve and Denise!!!

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location, would highly recommend

The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as described.

Great communication from Rebecca and Denise made things easy, and we were always able to park at the station car park. The view from the balcony was awesome and there were plenty of nearby choices for shopping, food and drink. A great choice of apartment and would definitely recommend to others.

An absolutely beautiful apartment every attention to detail no need to travel any where else and the best views by far will definitely book again when it’s available already tried for June but no vacancies unsurprising it’s hard to beat!

Fabulous in every way.

Apartment has the most spectacular view, is stylish without sacrificing comfort, scrupulously clean, has every kitchen utensil you can imagine and somewhere we would love to return to.

Such a perfect position for winter or summer whatever the weather.

Stayed in many appts in this area but this one has the edge (literally ;-)) on comfort, decor, content and thoughtfulness of self catering items, literally didn’t want to leave. I’d retire/buy here too! L & M

This is an exceptional property, simply stunning views and all round high end.

Our only small criticism was the sofa. Too deep for us to sit on comfortably and as we were in the apartment most of the week (as we picked a pretty windy and rainy week) we struggled. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the showers, bath etc all great. We have family nearby so it was a great place for us to be in the middle of town and Rebecca and Denise were very helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Highly recommended experience and outstanding venue to explore Newquay.

Host (Rebecca) and her team (Denise) are helpful from the outset and make sure everything is in order and during the stay are always available to help. Just to be clear - the view is awesome!!! and I am not sure between the view and the accommodation you would want anything more. Fittings and amenities and apartment are of a high standard. Oh yes did I say the view is awesome! Close to station, Aldi, Asda, Eateries, pubs, high street, shops and sandy beaches and crashing seas. Simply great week and I can’t recommend a better week away for those who love the sea.

We had an amazing holiday in the View.

We went first week of October and had just the one day of rain. The view is breath taking and changes when the tide does. Fab watching the surfers and generally watching the world go by. Interior of apartment is quality and there is nothing you could want for. The owners provided all the information by phone you needed and when you arrived and Denise went out of her way to make sure your holiday was enjoyable. I highly recommend and definitely going back next year.

An immensely enjoyable stay at this stunning apartment couldn't have been topped as every mod-con and comfort is provided - pristine and superb in every way!

Rebecca very kindly informed us as soon as the apartment was ready on arrival day, which was hugely appreciated as we arrived a couple of hours earlier than anticipated and Denise is deserving of particular acknowledgement for providing the most spotless and well-organised accommodation possible; a bespoke service!! Many, many thanks!!

Almost everything was perfect.

Only kitchen tap dripping the water, it was annoying. Sofa in living room was too deep.

The view definitely has the WOW factor, the apartment is spotless thanks to the lovely housekeeper Denise.

We must point out there are 37 steps up to this apartment, but worth it, so much so that we have already booked again for next year.

The View is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in.

Of course the view from the balcony is just perfect and changes throughout the day as the tide comes in and out but absolutely everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Fantastic communication from the owner and housekeeper and every inch of the property was spotlessly clean. The attention to detail was excellent from an extremely well equipped kitchen to fairy lights on the balcony - there isn't one thing you would want to change about the apartment. All in all, a perfect week and we will definitely be back.

The apartment lived up to it’s name - the View did not disappoint.

The apartment is luxurious with an amazingly comfortable king size bed with everything that we needed for a lovely relaxing break. Our host and the housekeeper kept in touch and made sure that we had everything we needed both before arrival and during our stay. We will definitely return, thank you.

After spending a week at this amazing apartment, we can totally understand why it's called 'The View'.

In reality it should be called, 'Wow, The View' as it's just so amazing. The second you walk in it just takes your full attention.   We enjoyed a week here late September and can happily say that we would go back again. The extra covid requirements are being taken and the apartment is ideally situated. The parking directly across from the apartment is perfect and secure and we never had any issues getting a place. There is plenty to do near by and the town centre is just minutes walk away as are local supermarkets. The apartment is secure and very nicely decorated. The bed was just so comfy and we spent plenty of time out on the balcony. There was only 2 of us but you could easily have 4 people staying, there is plenty of space. There is everything you need in the apartment and what shopping you do need can be bought very locally. Rebecca and Denise looked after us so well and checked that we had all that we needed, nothing as too much trouble and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated. The Great Western Beach is literally right below you and it is such a beautiful beach. We enjoyed strolling along & even braved going in! Absolutely freezing lol. We highly recommend The View and hope to return in the near future.

Great apartment with fabulous views!

We were certainly blown away by the views from the balcony both from the lounge and luxurious master bedroom. Could quite happily have sat there all week gazing at the sea view & sunsets! Great location for exploring Newquay & surrounding areas, most bars, restaurants and shops were set up well for the current social distancing measures whilst still feeling relaxed and welcoming. Would definitely recommend both Newquay and 'The View' apartment, communication from both the owner Rebecca and housekeeper Denise was great. Parking in the carpark across the road is very handy and we didn't have any problems getting a space. Very comfy beds and sofa!! Everything you need for a great holiday in beautiful part of the UK xx

The Apartment was brilliant.

When we walked into it and saw the views WOW was the first word that came out. It's a great location central to everything. A short walk down to the beaches and Harbour. Fantastic En Suite Bedrooms which were extremely comfortable. A great base for our holiday.

Wow!

What a lovely apartment in the perfect location. Everything you would need, clean, spacious and with all the modern extras like smart TV's that make that extra difference when away. Myself, wife and 3 year old daughter stayed for a week and loved our time here. The surrounding area was great with plenty to do for couples and families and the fact that we had this accommodation to come back to at the end of the day made it all the more special. Our favourite part of the day was sitting outside on the balcony with the blankets on, drinking a hot chocolate from the shop nearby, watching the sun set. We will be back!

We surfed every day if our holiday but what made the experience the most enjoyable was being able to return each day to the comfort of our accommodation.

The View apartment was such an amazing experience in itself. Our day on the beach never really ended because of the beautiful views from the balcony on the evening. The luxury and comfort of the apartment ensured we had a totally relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderful week in a lovely flat where everything was thought of and catered for.

Things not always provided were ready and waiting, like dish washer tablets, toilet rolls, salt, pepper, vinegar etc. Instructions for appliances were easy to locate and wi-fi codes were ready to hand. The furniture and fittings were high-end and comfortable, and the fairy lights on the balcony in the evening were a lovely touch ! Can't fault the flat at all, the views were fantastic. The owner and housekeeper kept in touch and were readily available for any questions, if we had any - which we didn't, as everything was to hand. Everything we decided we needed in the kitchen - we found it in the kitchen ! I would highly recommend this property, as long as your legs can manage the two flights of stairs to get to it, as there's no lift !

The apartment was the nicest holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and tastefully furnished, in a wonderful situation, with stunning views. A perfect situation in Newquay, near the bus stop, the station, two supermarkets and restaurants, and easy access to shops and beaches. Two flights of stairs to the apartment might be a problem for some people. The parking arrangement at the station car park directly opposite was very efficiently organised and all the directions to it, and to the apartment were very straightforward. We would definitely stay there again.

We visited "The View" last year and were blown away by this fabulous apartment.

We couldn't wait to return! Our stay had been so easy last year with everything we needed in the apartment that packing for the week was a lot easier, I had no need to bring the kitchen sink! Additionally a parking permit is supplied with the benefit of parking close by. Communication is also great from both the owner Rebecca and Denise who not only keeps the apartment clean but is also available should you need her. Both are very friendly and obliging. I consider all these factors aid the enjoyment of a holiday. A year passed until it was possible for us to return to "The View" but I can say that it was just as wonderful as we had remembered it. The place of course has a stunning view which is unrivalled but additionally the apartment is situated in a great location.It is clean, thanks to Denise and is equipped to a high standard. A real home from home. The master bedroom feels luxurious and glamorous and again has that fantastic view out of the double doors. It is very easy to stay in this apartment and not leave as it is so peaceful. All you hear are the waves below and the sea gulls calling out. If you want to escape and relax then this is the perfect place for you. If you enjoy walks on the beach then just a few yards walk via a slope leads to the beach. The shops, restaurants and town are all within easy walking distance. It is the perfect place to stay and we will be back again as soon as we can. On a separate note about the town, I have visited Newquay as a child, teenager , new mother and now a mother of teenagers. I have seen Newquay change over the years and go through some darker days which are clearly behind it, but it has never altered my love of this town with it's beautiful clean beaches and it's welcoming locals. The perfect mix of this luxurious, spacious apartment and stunning Newquay will keep us returning for years.

The apartment lived up to its name 'The View'!

Spectacular outlook, amazing to wake up and the first thing you sea is the surf. Loved the apartment, it was clean, comfortable and well appointed, and great for the kids too. It had everything you could need and then some. Top notch communication from the owners and the housekeeper. A great base to explore the Cornish coast. We would definitely recommend the apartment and we will rebook.

The apartment was fantastic and perfect for a family of two children and two adults.

Brilliant access to the beach and Newquay town centre there are restaurants/pubs close by but there is no issue with late night noise etc. The view of the Western Beach and the bay area was amazing. The communication from the owners was excellent and also the Denise who maintains the property Really recommend staying at this apartment.

This apartment is just simply perfect in every way it's so comfortable got everything you need and I mean everything it's spotlessly clean the housekeeper Denise is great always on hand just in case now that view is just something else I'd say it's got the wow factor but that doesn't do it justice when you walk into the living room and see that view you'll understand what I mean I loved the apartment so much I'd buy it if I could enjoy it folks it's a gem

We loved the apartment in every way but what impressed us the most was the superb housekeeper, who could not have been more helpful and friendly!

It was our honeymoon.

We arrived to a spotless apartment with a bottle of Prosecco a congratulatory card and many other lovely touches instigated by our apartment owners. We didn’t have any issues from start to finish and had an amazing time. The view was amazing. Although it was on a busy road there was little or no traffic noise. We would love to re-visit.

The owners have thought of everything and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. Our week in Newquay was one of the most relaxing we have ever had in Cornwall due mainly to the apartment and its position. We really hope to return very soon.

This apartment is perfect in every way.

It feels like it is your own home. The view as you walk in to the lounge is spectacular. The furnishings are good quality and luxurious. The sofa is very spacious and comfortable and positioned perfectly so you can gaze out at the sea all day and night watching the changing sky. The TV had sky and netflix and it was very easy to connect to the wifi so our 16 year old was very pleased. The kitchen was well fitted with a dishwasher and washing machine, large fridge and freezer. If you choose to cook there are plenty of pots and even a cake tin if you felt like baking. As i said, it really does feel like a home from home. The lounge kitchen feels spacious and airy. The bedrooms too were beautiful, with thick, soft carpet. My daughter had the front room which was again spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and the ensuite had shelving so everything has a place. The master bedroom was stunning. Again, very large and the whole end wall are patio doors looking out to sea and the headland. The bedlinen was good quality with soft sheets and the bed extremely comfortable. There are plugs where you need them and a beautiful dressing table with a hairdryer and hair towel. Again a lovely touch. The apartment also has a number of games, dvds and books applicable for all ages. There was also cleaning products and dish cloths left with a couple of dishwasher tablets so you didn't have to rush out to buy these immediately. Another nice touch was that the fridge, had bread, eggs and milk and of course scones, cream and jam. There were tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets which allowed us to have a nice relax when we arrived after our long journey. The whole apartment was very clean and fresh and Denise who cares for the apartment was in contact all the time so if we had needed anything we could contact her. From the street you only see a doorway in but it is like a little gem at the top of the stairs and you are transported in to a lovely calm place. Another thing I forgot was that there is a cupboard with beach towels and a place to leave the sandy bits so they dont walk in to the rooms. The position is great too. A few yards to the entrance of the beach, the supermarket is very close and you are very close in to town. All in all, this place exceeded my expectations. I normally stay somewhere else and have done for years but we all agreed this apartment and it's location although not down on the beach is much better. Plus, you have the convenience of a parking permit so we just dropped our bags and parked up the car in the carpark opposite and enjoyed a week of relaxation. We will definitly be back! :)
