    “We absolutely loved our stay at Beachcomber, from the moment we walked in we felt at home.”

    Such a lovely spacious home that meant the kids weren’t on top of each other and had their own space. We loved the outdoor area too, being able to hang washing out and have somewhere to sit in the sun and or eat outside. It’s a really peaceful road and despite only a 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the harbour we felt a million miles away which was perfect. We didn’t actually use the car for the week. We walked to Tesco up the hill 10 mins away. Walked to the beach daily ...

We walked to Tesco up the hill 10 mins away. Walked to the beach daily and walked down to the estuary for a morning dip when the tide was right. The master bedroom was beautiful and with a wonderful view over the estuary and to Rock that you could see from the window seat. We felt very lucky to have found such a perfect holiday home.

The property

Found in the popular and stunning fishing port of Padstow is this delightful seaside cottage, close to any amenities and not far from the harbour, Beachcomber is exceptionally stylish and welcoming, furnished beautifully throughout.

Perfect for a larger family looking to have a seaside holiday, you are within easy walking distance of the heart of Padstow or a short driving distance from nearby beaches that this area of Cornwall is so famous for.

Relax in the calming sitting room with its ocean themed colour scheme of blue, sand, and wood, creating a calm space to enjoy the company of your loved ones.

Head into the well-equipped kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for everyone, before serving it up on the dining table to enjoy some family time, discussing the plans for the days ahead.

On a balmy summer evening, take the conversations outside and relax with a glass of wine amongst the garden furniture as the night draws in.

Upstairs find your perfect resting spot in one of the three lovely bedrooms comprising of a super-king-size, a twin room and a bunk room where you will find ample storage for your belongings.

A sparkling bathroom lies on the first-floor with a bath and separate shower, while a further shower room rests on the ground-floor so there shouldn't be too much queuing in the morning!

When you're heading out, consider taking a fishing trip from the harbour with options for 2 to 8 hour trips available, where you can experience the wonderful Cornish coast from out on the water.

Why not hire some bikes and ride along The Camel Trail, a disused railway line following the Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge before joining the route through the wooded Camel Valley to Bodmin, with incredible landscapes to be seen and an array of wildlife all around.

Beachcomber will be a home-from-home for you in this picturesque port town.

Harlyn 2.9 miles; Constantine Bay 4.2 miles; Polzeath 15.6 miles.

Padstow is situated at the head of the Camel Cycle Trail and is a fantastic base for exploring the South West Coastal Path which opens up routes to beautiful Cornish countryside. This delightful fishing port is surrounded by sandy beaches and offers many opportunities to taste the locally sourced produce in celebrity owned establishments. Padstow has something for everyone with watersports, walking, cycling and fishing, you can even take a trip on a local fisherman’s boat! The excellent surfing beaches of Harlyn and Constantine are ideal for safe family fun, and Constantine Bay is also home to a golf course, just a few miles away, while a passenger ferry across the river from Padstow to Rock takes you to the beach at Daymer Bay. Just around the corner toward Pentire Head is the surfing paradise at Polzeath, and when the beach no longer calls, there’s a golf course nearby, several stately homes and gardens to visit. The fabulous Eden Project is just over twenty miles away.
