Well, where have I've been not to know about not only the location of Cawsand but the Old Signal House.

The view is gobsmacking and you have everything you need in the house...and I mean everything. Lots of space in the apartment and every day the view of the sea, shops and seals. The balcony is perfect to just sit and relax. The village and surrounding areas are fabulous and we had some of the best food ever in the village. Ok, you have 80 steps but simply sing as you go and it flies by. The directions to the house were flawless and the whole week was perfect. Sounds a bit twee, but it felt a real privilege to stay there with it being so beautiful. Back soon hopefully.

Our second time at the Old Signal House.

Awesome accommodation. Peace and stunning views. Very well equipped including binoculars so that we can sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. Little local beach is only 2 minutes walk away. This is tidal, sandy and normally quiet. The walk into Cawsand is around 20 minutes along a quiet track, coast path accessible from the door. Only downside is those steps! However they are a great substitute for a legs day at the gym

The Old Signal House is a really special place to stay - the sound of the waves and the light on the sea create a lovely atmosphere.

It's a peaceful location and excellent for walking on the coastpath. The house has a high standard of decor and is very well equipped - we easily managed a full roast dinner with all the trimmings!
