“Lovely light and airy property; very clean with well-equipped kitchen; I would however, suggest providing a dishcloth in the kitchen to make it easier to clean down surfaces.”

The welcome pack was really appreciated and a nice touch. The evenings were a little cool and as we couldn't quite figure out the heating, we would have liked to have lit a fire but there was no kindling and only 4 logs in the basket so we had to abort that idea. Also, the mirror in the first floor bedroom opposite the shower room was too high such that if you sat down at the dressing table to dry your hair you couldn't see in the mirror, The one big downside of this property, which ...

The welcome pack was really appreciated and a nice touch. The evenings were a little cool and as we couldn't quite figure out the heating, we would have liked to have lit a fire but there was no kindling and only 4 logs in the basket so we had to abort that idea. Also, the mirror in the first floor bedroom opposite the shower room was too high such that if you sat down at the dressing table to dry your hair you couldn't see in the mirror, The one big downside of this property, which unfortunately reflects in the score, is with regard to the small shower room on the first floor landing - there is a permanent sewage/damp smell coming from this room which was very unpleasant. We didn't want to intrude on the privacy of our friends who were occupying the top floor bedroom with en-suite shower so had to endure a rather unpleasant 5 minute daily shower in this room which wasn't great. I would also suggest ensuring the photos advertising the property are updated i.e., in the photos there is a TV in the first floor bedroom opposite the shower room but there was no TV in the room when we got there which was a little disappointing.
