Had a lovely week here owners very welcoming everything we needed was here needs a little tlc in some area's but did not stop us enjoying are stay

We had an amazing holiday with the house as base camp.

Penny and the family were amazing from property care to recommending the best Sunday roast ever! As said by my two children. And I will say it was the best. The walks around are good but beware you do need good sturdy shoes or possibly wellies for the winter. We had the best time making memories here and highly recommended booking this lovely family run spot. Thank you penny and family for having us

Lovely 13th century farmhouse , clean and comfortable.

Working farm and long rough. Lane to get there, but was ok for our car. Cornwall all tight roads lol. We had an enjoyable stay owner so lovely and friendly x

Loved the cottage and its location.

Very secluded and quiet. Located inthe rolling countryside of North Cornwall. Family loved going here. So have booked again for next year. Will be our third time going here. Hosts Cant do enough for you. Very friendly and welcoming

We had the most beautiful holiday and fell in love with the cottage.

It was homely, and comfortable and I loved waking up each morning and seeing the cows and half's. Penny and her family are so welcoming and I enjoyed our chats. We ate now looking at dates for next year

Really loved our stay at the cottage.

Host was fantastic, friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the open space and waking up to the sounds of the animals. had a small issue with the shower and our host resolved it promptly. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay.

Penny is very welcoming and helpful and the cottage is a perfect place to stay. Quiet and secluded but in easy reach of local attractions and near main routes for exploring further away.

Great holiday lovely people are young children feed the young lamb's GREAT.

We had a comfortable stay in the cottage, it's the best equipped cottage we've stayed in and the owners were very welcoming and helpful.

The position of the cottage is great, well placed for many attractions and the coast.

Lovely cottage, just the place to relax.

Close to several nice pubs that serve awesome food. Handy for Port Issac and Polzeath. Penny, the owner, was lovely and friendly, felt we had known her for ages. Definitely added to our revisit list

It was good with everything you needed to make it a home from home.

The sloping bedroom floors were unusual and took a bit of getting use to but it’s an ancient house so it’s bound to be quirky. It’s ideally suited for younger relatively fit families. If you have mobility issues I would not recommend. The weather was awful while we were there but it’s England and not the cottages fault . There were dvds with a fair selection mainly aimed at children which is what you want. The farm dogs do run free so just be prepared for them running in the lane and barking whenever you arrive or leave to go out. There’s a small garden area at the rear which is safe for your own dogs to use and a washing line which if the weather had been good would have been a real bonus, the aga was a great place to dry clothes and keep warm (it was a wet chilly week!). All in all an interesting well equipped property.

We absolutely loved out stay at tresungers, and would highly recommend, Penny and her family are very warm, welcoming and friendly, we loved our holiday and cannot wait to go back, even though the weather wasn't too nice we still had a fantastic time.

Penny offered any assistance, if we should need it. The cottage was spotlessly clean and in an ideal position to explore North Cornwall. I would definitely recommend this cottage and I am sure we will stay there again in the future.

Everything was perfect, clean, warm, perfect for our dogs and near to all the places we love in Cornwall

We stayed at Tresungers on 23rd July for a week, 4 adults and 2 children and all really enjoyed it, plenty of space.

Penny the host was very welcoming and nothing was too much for her, if you needed any information about about local area then she was most helpful. It is a working farm and the kids were encouraged to walk around it to see the cows and sheep. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing

Penny and her husband where so kind, welcoming and friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay at Tresunger cottage, Great location with access to dog friendly beaches, pubs and great restaurants. The walk to Port Issac was lovely from the farm and the instructions given by Penny were spot on! We all loved the outside space, the girls enjoyed the chickens and meeting the farm dogs. A perfect place to unwind, relax and return home well rested. Thank you for the best week.

Absolutely loved our stay.

Penny and her husband were amazing hosts. The location of the house was just perfect with everything we needed inside to make a fantastic family holiday. The dogs especially enjoyed their stay. There was plenty of room for them to stretch out and they loved meeting the hens and the friendly farm dogs. We've not been this relaxed after a holiday in a very long time. Can't wait to go back.

The property was absolutely lovely and so comfortable and clean.

The bunch of flowers were such a lovely touch too. The cottage was in a perfect position to explore the north of Cornwall. Port Isaac is only a 5 minute drive away or you can also walk to it across the fields. Penny and James were also very lovely and welcoming. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Absolutely fantastic host and family, nothing is too much trouble, happy to chat, and provide local information.

We really couldn’t have asked for anywhere or anyone more welcoming and friendly.

We had a lovely stay here ,lots of near places to go and lots of walks of varying stage of difficulty Dog friendly ,nice host ,nice and quite .

And Port Isaac was lovely

Tresungers offers the opportunity to stay in a very historic building, while providing comfortable and spacious family accommodation.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, near to prime beaches.

A great place to stay with wonderful hosts.

Well situated to explore the North coast - with many lovely walks and places to visit nearby.

A typical farm cottage with all the mod cons.

A friendly welcome from the owners, as you are on a working farm. A lovely site and easy to get to great tourist attractions.

The positives: the cottage was excellent and the owner couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

The negatives: road to the cottage was full of potholes and caused damage to our car and dogs run around freely and tended to poo where we were allocated parking. This resulted in an elderly member of our party treading in it when we returned home late as their was no lights and having to pick up the poo ourselves! Ignoring the negatives, the cottage itself was large and had everything we wanted.

Tresungers is a very old, charming, unusual place to stay, lovely and roomy, great for playing hide and seek with the children, the grand children lived this place, lovely big garden to run about in.

Its about 1 mile from Port Isaac by car on foot you'd need stout walking shoes to trek over the fields.

The family that owned the cottage were very helpful and welcoming.

The property is an amazing listed building, inside is a traditional farm house, with all the amenities you need.

The views over the fields are brilliant for relaxing after a day walking the stunning coastal paths or visiting the surrounding villages. We recommend visiting Daymer Bay and walking the coastal paths, Boscastle and Tintagel. (All around a 10 mile drive away). Port Issac is a 30 minute walk from the cottage (over fields) great for dog walking. The owner Penny is lovely. Very friendly and did everything possible to ensure we had a great holiday. We had a brilliant week and would recommend Tresungers Cottage. Thank you Penny and James.

Mr & Mrs Warne were very friendly hosts, who were helpful and informed us of footpaths to Port Isaac, and local shops.

The property was very old and quirky, Being a grade 2 listed building we were fascinated with some of its history ! Our Grandchildren enjoyed being able to look round a working farm and loved the animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt safe and secluded in these difficult times.

Beautiful place.

Much bigger inside than it looks in the photos. Lovely views from all the rooms. Very remote, which was great. Lovely walk into Port Isaac, about half hour. Hosts were fantastic. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Just arrived back from a fabulous week at Tresungers.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful. Ideal location for exploring the north coast and very peaceful. Would highly recommend this cottage and would certainly return.

We had a delightful time at Tresungers.

Our children really enjoyed the trampoline and swing in the garden and lots of hide-and-seek in the house. The house was well equipped and clean and Penny very kindly bought in treats for us all to enjoy on our arrival (in spite of our crazy dietary requirements!). She was very approachable and we felt we could have asked her if there had been anything we needed. Our son was amazed to be staying somewhere which predates the Great Fire of London and yet it was much cosier than we might have expected. The views from the house are spectacular and it is well located to enjoy some of the local towns and beaches. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Hosts were great there if you needed them but not in your face. Great place for dogs.

Excellent holiday the location is good but be prepared to travel if u want to go to the beach etc overall tho a great place to stay very nice, peaceful and very friendly owners defo recommend

The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay, clean and comfortable and very family friendly.

Tresungers is in a beautiful setting and the building itself is impressive.

The hosts made us very welcome and the lovely treat of s cream tea awaited us. Unfortunately for us we had to leave the day after we arrived due to a problem at home.

Spent a week at this 13th century farmhouse.

Full of character, clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, a lovely garden (with a huge trampoline), and only a short drive to the coast. Would love to come back to this amazing place! P. S. Penny, please say hello to Franklin, David, and the rest of your cows (from Antoni) ;-)

Penny and her family were very friendly.

My grandchildren loved feeding the lambs and cows,and they had plenty of garden for play.We have already booked to go again.

Such a fabulous old building and being able to take our dogs was great. The owners were just perfect, they were warm, welcoming and helpful upon our arrival then left us alone to enjoy our holiday. More than happy to recommend.

Cottage clean and homely. Lovely cream tea ready for us to make up on arrival. Good time had by humans and dog.

Lovely experience, family live next door found scones, cream jam & milk in fridge.

Very accomodating, and the aga was wonderful and cosy. Good area for sight seeing in North Cornwall.

Tresungers Cottage is part of a farm and is a lovely place.

There is plenty of room, lots of character and, if you have dogs, well kept garden space to walk them. Location is good too, there is lots to do locally and the cottage has room for storing bicycles, surfboards etc. The owners are nice friendly people and very helpful too. Would we go again? Yes, Polzeath, Port Issac, Newquay, Wadebridge are all worth visiting and the cottage is an easy, relaxing place to stay.

Absolutely brilliant place great and friendly family would recommend to anyone.

Our family (seven persons, children from 10 to 15 years old) was glad to be at this place, nice accomodation, friendly owners.
