“Our family of four, including two young boys, stayed at the premises in August 2026.”

We had a perfect stay. It didn't cause us any problems but, anyone booking the Granary should be aware that a section of the floor space in the large first floor living area, sits above one of the bedrooms of the neighboring property. We had a perfect stay. It didn't cause us any problems but, anyone booking the Granary should be aware that a section of the floor space in the large first floor living area, sits above one of the bedrooms of the neighboring property. This may be a problem for people with early rising young children who like to stomp about. Other than this, On arrival, we received a genuinely warm welcome from the accommodation manager. Our accommodation was clean, spacious, well equipped, well kept and set in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Cornwall within walking distance of St Erth and its train station and a short drive to Hayle, Penzance and St Ives. I would recommend a visit to the top of Trencrom Hill which overlooks the estate and gives climbers a view over Cornwall from Gwithian to Penzance. The onsite facilities at the property include access to a well maintained, walled, outdoor heated pool (with key access for children's safety), associated pool house and shower facilities, walking access to the estates grounds, with the exception of some clearly marked restricted areas associated with the owners private residence. The Granary is one of four holiday lets which form a horse shoe shaped cluster of accommodation centered around a gravel and grass courtyard. The main entrance and outdoor seating area to the Granary is at the rear of the property away from the other accommodation so it feels a bit more secluded that the other units. We were lucky enough to meet the very interesting Lady of the house who shared storeys about the estates past including its unexpected association with the Wallace and Gromit theme tune. We will definitely be back.
