Susan “Pebble Cottage was one of the best equipped we have stayed in.”
It was spotless on arrival and the decor was beautiful.A lot of thought had gone into the furnishing. It was perfectly situated for walking the Cornish coastal paths.

Rita “Excellent little cottage, very well maintained and lovely welcome on arrival.”
Would definitely stay again if not so far from Bristol.
- Rita, May 2023Adam “Excellent cottage, lovely location, really enjoyable stay”
- Adam, May 2023Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I look forward to welcoming you back to Pebble Cottage again. Best wishes, Christine Property Owner
Georgina “What a tremendous little cottage, so welcoming and cosy.”
Handy little spot for all that St Just offers. The kitchen was so well equipped and we really relaxed and enjoyed our week there it was hard to leave. Appreciated the automatic timing for the heating too. My only tiny gripe was the poor water pressure in the shower, however I think this is the norm for UK. We'd love to return, thank you!!
- Georgina, March 2023Peter “A lovely cottage, clean and well laid out.”
Helpful when needed to sort out an issue with a radiator. No negative comments with the exception of parking which was occasionally difficult - but still not a big issue. We would definitely stay again.
- Peter, September 2022Stuart “Lovely cottage in great location.”
- Stuart, April 2022Vivienne “Lovely warm cottage, welcome treat much appreciated, as was the supply of logs for the fire, kitchen equipment better than home!”
Parking not much of an issue in March.
- Vivienne, March 2022Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back to Pebble Cottage one day. Best wishes Chris and Ben Property Owner
Susan “Absolutely beautiful!”
A traditional miners cottage in the heart of St Just, refurbished to a very high standard, so comfortable, warm and generally gorgeous!! St Just is a small town with a palpable sense of community (I just wish I lived there permanently!!). Everything you need.. coffee shop, pubs, supermarket, the wonderful Kurt Jackson gallery etc. No gentrification, authentic and super friendly.. The stunning SW coast path is accessed literally down the road! What more could you ask for?!! Perfect even in winter ❤️
- Susan, February 2022Sheila “A beautifully clean + comfortable little cottage in a perfect location for coastal walking and easy access to most of west Cornwall.”
Lovely (and unusual) to find a kitchen with plenty of good quality cookware....for those of us who can't so easily eat out. We stayed in November and despite the weather being unusually mild, it was a joy to return to a warm cottage after a bracing coast walk. Only downside was trying to find a parking space sometimes.
- Sheila, November 2021Dave “Great cottage, our 4th holiday here.”
....no need to say any more!
- Dave, October 2021Diane “Fabulous cottage, great location and every you could possibly need to hand.”
- Diane, August 2021Claire “Beautiful clean cottage in a great location!”
The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and we really enjoyed our stay. Cape Cornwall was only a short walk and was definitely worth it for the view, found the locals very friendly and more than happy to help us
- Claire, July 2021Neil “A really lovely cottage with all that was required to have a fantastic week and more”
- Neil, July 2021Ann “Didn't realize there was no proper sitting out area apart from the front garden which was private due to noisy road.”
Apart from that the stay was a very welcome rest
- Ann, June 2021Vivien “Pebble Cottage was beautifully furnished and was pristine, warm and comfortable.”
The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in - not usually a priority but given covid restrictions on indoor dining and cold weather was a blessing. Being within walking distance of the sea, Cape Cornwall and the coastal path enabled us to really enjoy the beautiful landscape. Our week was a perfect relaxing escape.
- Vivien, April 2021Paul “A very pleasant stay at Pebble Cottage and cosy accommodation in that warm and plenty of space for 4.”
Fresh roses, Cornish tea also made the welcome very personal. Brilliant location for spectacular coastal walks within minutes of the front door. True to say car parking is not easy due to the many of the St Just cottages that do not have direct road access, but normally a space may be found fairly close to the cottage. Highly recommended.
- Paul, October 2020Chris “One of the nicest holiday cottages we’ve stayed in.”
Best thing about it was how tastefully It is decorated and set out. In some cottages the tastes and personality of the owner can be quite overpowering but Pebble Cottage is tasteful and modern. Great location!
- Chris, September 2020Pat “Cottage very comfortable, tasteful decor, with everything you need for an enjoyable break.”
We never managed to park near the cottage. The free car park in the town is about 10 minutes walk away, with spaces although not sure how easy would be in high season. The local shops are excellent,
- Pat, September 2020Cheryl “The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable and all the little extras made all the difference.”
Like the milk, tea and a nice bottle wine which we didn’t drink on this occasion but the thought was lovely. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone
- Cheryl, March 2020Jocelyn “Pebble Cottage is a fantastic place to stay and far exceeded our expectations in terms of decor, how well it was equipped and general comfort added to which it is perfectly situated close to all the amenities in St Just.”
All in all a fantastic holiday. Thank you Chris!
- Jocelyn, February 2020Linds “Fantastic cottage had everything you needed.”
Our stay was in November so the weather was really bad but the cottage was so comfortable we had no need to leave it if we didn't want to and the village had enough shops to get provisions and of course nice pubs
- Linds, November 2019Dave “Well equipped & cosy cottage, within walking distance to the coastal footpaths & nearby valleys.”
We have already booked our 3rd stay at Pebble Cottage!
- Dave, October 2019M “A note on the wall said NO PARKING we misunderstood this thinking it was reserved for the cottage, we got a telling off from a local resident!”
The cottage is a delight in every way and hope to return.
- M, September 2019Neil “Nicely appointed cottage in a great village.”
- Neil, August 2019Hilary “This was a very pleasant cottage to stay in.”
It was tastefully furnished and well equipped. There were only a couple of aspects which could have been addressed, which would have improved our stay. Firstly the shower in the property could be improved, as it was fairly basic. Secondly, the fact that there was no car parking available outside the property, but across the road there were car park places available for permit holders. If one of these permits was available for the cottage, that would be good.
- Hilary, June 2019Susan “A well appointed cottage in a lovely area of Cornwall.”
Parking can be an issue but there is free parking in the centre of St Just. A visit to Cape Cornwall is a must, especially at sunset. You can easily get to The Minack Theatre which is spectacular and Sennen Market on Tuesdays is worth a visit too. It is definitely a cottage I would book again.
- Susan, May 2019Jan “Our third visit to this fab cottage.”
We love the area and this cottage has everything we need for our stay. We have stayed in st. Just six times and this is our absolute favourite cottage. However it’s so popular we couldn’t get our usual dates for two whole weeks so we only had a week this time
- Jan, April 2019Peter “Great accommodation super week”
- Peter, April 2019Martyn “A delightful Cottage, with an outstanding decor and finish.”
Comfortable, quiet but in the heart of St Just. The owner has fitted this out with high quality furnishings and fittings. One of the best we have stayed in.
- Martyn, April 2019Susan “Nicely equiped cottage in a convenient location for the coast path and walking.”
Only downside is the lack of dedicated parking. This was not a problem for us as we used the free car park in the centre of St Just. I can imagine that this would prove more difficult in July and August. Would definitely holiday here again.
- Susan, March 2019Karen “Lovely beautifully decorated cottage, in quiet town.”
- Karen, March 2019Mary “Delightful cottage.”
Only possible improvement would be a permit to allow one to park just across the road, where there is a residents’ parking area. We were often unable to find a space near the cottage, especially when returning at night after all the locals had come home from work.

About the location
ST JUST
Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.
St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
