    “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The grounds around the cottage were beautiful, green, and peaceful. The cottage itself was lovely and very clean, with all the facilities we needed. The only downside was that the ground floor had a very low ceiling.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Eddie! We're delighted to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay and that you found the cottage clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and we're so pleased you enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful grounds. Thank you as well for mentioning the low ground floor ceiling. As the cottage is a traditional character property (17th century), some original features, including the ceiling beams, have to be retained, but we appreciate you pointing this out as it can be helpful for future guests. I think it's fair to say that 300 years ago, folk were much shorter than we are today. In contrast, the first floor ceiling is perfect for giants! Our best wishes to you and the beautiful Netherlands, Jules & Nick Property Owner

Trenannick Farm Cottages

Set within a peaceful wooded hollow, just 5 miles from the stunning North Cornwall coast is Trenannick Farm. This charming group of 18th century stone built cottages are accessed via a beautiful long beech tree lined drive in a quiet, rural haven. The cottages have been furnished to a very good standard with many thoughtful touches provided by the friendly owners and have recently been awarded Gold status from Green Tourism.

Relaxation comes naturally here; surrounded by birds and wildlife Trenannick provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life and provides the ideal location to make some glorious holiday memories. Children and adults alike will love meeting the alpacas Macchu, Cusco and Lima who will be glad to accompany them for a walk around the farm and also to collect eggs from the free-range chickens on the three acre estate. There is a large play area with children’s swings and slide, a sand boules pitch, mini pitch and putt, plus a copse to exercise your dog and for the children to play in. Whilst in the games room there is table tennis and a darts board so there is always something to entertain, even on those rainy day afternoons. An outside 'doggy wash' is a handy addition for rinsing muddy canine pals or sandy boards and wetsuits.

Crackington Haven, which is popular with surfers is just 5 miles away, whilst nearby Bude is perfect for families with a choice of two sandy beaches (one dog friendly year round) and a tidal sea pool for swimming, it is the perfect choice for a sun soaked summer day and offers bracing walks in the cooler seasons. Walkers can easily join the coastal path, or alternatively, cycle or walk the famous Camel Trail, hike on Bodmin Moor, or explore the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel. Discovering Cornwall is easy from Trenannick Farm Cottages!

After a day of adventures, why not gather around the fire pit or BBQ area where you can listen for owls and roast marshmallows into the evening and with zero light pollution the stars are simply amazing.

These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 24 guests.
