“Sand Fairy Cottage was an 18th century character cottage and was delightful with open fire and plentiful supply of logs.”
Mike, the owner, was lovely and welcoming. He responded promptly to any questions. We didnt realise the tele was in the cupboard! It was dog friendly with a stair gate and freshly laundered dog blanket. The generous welcome pack had tea, cake, milk, jam, and bread, all bought from the village shop, which was a co-operative. The shop did not allow dogs to step inside, which was surprising. But it was good for essential supplies. The local pub, The Crown served delicious food, and was very friendly. We did the Bath Skyline walk from the cottage, and we walked along the canal to Bradford upon Avon. Parking is easy on the street, but put your wing mirror in, as sadly we discovered ours was ripped off on the day we were leaving. There is nothing not to like. It was just perfect. Highly recommend. Huge thanks to Mike!
Thanks Sharon I’m very happy you had a lovely time. Have a great Christmas.
