What guests are saying
A fabulous week at Dairy Cottage, our second time of staying here!
The cottage is beautifully appointed (the pictures do not do it justice!), spotlessly clean, light and airy and with everything that you need for a lovely, comfortable stay. The view of Ugborough Beacon from the cottage is wonderful, especially whilst enjoying morning coffee, afternoon tea, or an evening beer on the patio or at the kitchen table. Penny, the owner, is very friendly and is available if needed. The bathroom and shower are spacious and the kitchen has everything needed, with a welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, eggs and biscuits, which were very welcome. In this cottage are 2 single beds but one is wider, more like the size of a double and with 2 sets of pillows. There are wonderful walks all around the area and directly from the cottage (straight onto the moors). The Turtley Corn Mill pub (about a mile away) serves high quality meals for an evening (or breakfast) out! We would highly recommend this cottage and we plan to return for our 3rd stay at some point. Thank you, Penny, for such a lovely week in dairy cottage!
A beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings, well equipped and spotlessly clean.
We enjoyed exceptionally hot weather but we were still able to walk on the moors each day. Penny was very helpful and we appreciated the welcome goodies. Pam Uttoxeter
