    “The Morningside Apartment's were lovely.”

    We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked into the apartment. A lovely cream tea and a bottle of prosecco were waiting for us. The Apartment is very well equipped with plenty of crockery and cookware. This is a spacious apartment.

The property

This stunning penthouse with panoramic sea views is located minutes from Babbacombe beach and its famous Cliff Railway.

Oddicombe beach is also just half a mile from the property.

The Apartment at Morningside Hotel is a terrific base for families and friends to get together to explore Torbay and South Devon.

The stunning south facing terrace has direct sea views across Lyme Bay and the outdoor sofa and dining set provide the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sun. The penthouse is situated on the top floor of the Morningside Hotel: a classic hotel residing on the clifftop promenade of Babbacombe. Parking is provided for 2 cars in the hotel car park. The penthouse has its own private entrance accessed from a gate leading from the car park.

Please note (for those with accessibility issues) the gate and passage way to the front door of the apartment is a max of 80cm wide.

Guests enter the property into spacious hallway with a cloakroom cupboard and stairs rising to the open plan living accommodation on the floor above.

The entrance hall also provides access to the ground floor laundry / utility room with lots of storage for beach equipment and laundry.

There is also a WC and shower room on the entrance level.

Explore the open-plan living area, the main hub of the house, located upstairs.

Sliding doors lead to the spacious garden terrace.

The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a sizeable gas range stove with twin ovens.

The terrace adds the "wow" factor and is a lovely place to enjoy the final rays of sunlight before sunset and to take in the views of the coastline.

Retreat to the snug room off the main living area if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.

It's the ideal place to read a book or have some alone time.

The corridor leads to the bedrooms: the master has a super king-size bed and a single bed with a TV and an en-suite shower room.

There is also a magnificent king-size room, a double room with an attached shower, and a single room that is perfect for a child.

Set out on foot in the morning to find a wide range of amenities, including cafes and well-stocked shops to buy the necessities.

A variety of beautiful beaches, Cockington Country Park for a romantic stroll, and Torquay Golf Course, which gives breathtaking views of the coast, are all available for a fun-filled day.

Explore the Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves before visiting the Babbacombe Model Village's beautiful gardens to learn more about the past.

Visit Paignton to enjoy Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, take a stroll along Goodrington Sands, and enjoy some delicious fish & chips by the pier.
