    “The first thing we like about the property was the location at the top of a hill with an amazing views of the countryside.”

    The property outside is beautiful and has everything you need to enjoy the views and relaxing stay. Inside the hall property is done beautifully and you can tell that the owners has put a lot of thought and care in making sure all the guess have a comfortable and enjoyable stay . From the moment we walk in we felt very welcome, our host has kindly let us homemade chocolate brownies ,free range eggs and milk . We highly recommending this beautiful accommodation to others and a place we love ...

Lottie’s Hut is an inviting shepherd’s hut situated in a shared field at Crosslands Farm, near Okehampton, Devon.

Boasting an appealing interior with far-reaching moorland views towards the pretty village of Belstone, Lottie’s Hut is conveniently located for a couple and their canine companion looking to explore this part of Devon.

Step inside and explore the open-plan, studio style layout with kitchen housing a combi air fryer and grill, electric plate hob, and fridge with ice box.

Warm your toes in front of the woodburning stove while you relax in one of the two chairs, or pull out the dining table to enjoy mealtimes together. Finally, drift off to sleep in the king-size bed, before freshening up in the shower room.

Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. To the north of Okehampton are some beautiful rolling Devon hills where small farming villages nestle amidst woods and fields with plenty of gently flowing rivers. The fabulous Roadford Reservoir offers a multitude of watersport activities and fishing opportunities. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory: The Dartmoor Line now operates a service between Okehampton and Exeter every hour, 7 days a week.
