Reviews

    • “Glenview is a lovely house set in a peaceful location a short drive from Lynton. The house is very well equipped and a comfortable place to return to after a busy day visiting the towns and beaches. Lynton and Lynmouth are lovely towns with plenty of restaurants and gift shops. The owners had left milk, tea, coffee and a welcome bottle of wine. My grandsons loved the unsual garden and really enjoyed the holiday.”

    Mrs Buss, Swanley, July 2018

    • “The cottage was a home away from home. The owner had left milk in the fridge; tea coffee and sugar as well as basic condiments. We really enjoyed the white wine and the honey (although not together!) throughout the holiday. The cottage was immaculate and well placed to see so many places in the area. We did enjoy the walk into Lynton and everyone we met in the area was helpful and approachable. We had no reason to call the owner during our stay as so much was explained in the information left there - including the complicated, but useful, re-cycling information. The kitchen was very well appointed and the equipment supplied was as good as, if not better, than our own! We have used Helpful Holidays before and will continue to use them when we want to stay in the area.”

    Mrs Rees, CARMARTHEN, July 2018

    • “Glenview was a fabulous cottage very clean and well equipped . The location was perfect as we love our walks and there were llenty to choose from. Would definitely recommend and go back for another visit.”

    Mrs Hayes, Braintree, July 2018

    • “Glenview is a fabulous cottage brimming with everything you could possibly need for a stress free stay away from home. It is beautifully kept, comfortable beds, relaxing lounge and lovely large outdoor area which we used continually as the weather was so glorious. There is a river nearby that you can hear which just adds to the tranquil space nestled in between lots of trees, so relaxing. Very close to Lynmouth which is stunning and just what you would expect from a charming Devon seaside town. Recommend highly, and already planning to return!”

    Mrs Harvey, Wellingborough, June 2018

    • “This was by far the best equipped house we have stayed in, the kitchen particularly. The underfloor heating was wonderful for those of us suffering from cold toes. Comfort plus.”

    Mr Bicknell, Hampton, April 2018

    • “This was our second year and yes it is a great place to stay always clean tidy with a warm feeling on entry, love this property. Great as a base for travelling around and also fantastic walks nearby.”

    Mary Showler, March 2018
