We loved our week long stay at Fern Cottage.
It is perfectly placed in between all our favourites to visit in North Devon. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. Our dog and toddler absolutely loved exploring every bit of the accommodation and the farm land around. The enclosed garden, and also the grass paddock is perfect for the dog. The pigs were lovely to say hello to every morning and evening. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a washing machine for a bit of laundry, as we had all types of weather and a few beach days. But can’t complain, as it was still a lovely stay! We can’t wait to book again for next year.

Top accommodation and a great base for a fantastic holiday exploring North Devon.
A charming thoughtfully modernised cottage retaining the traditional cottage feel.
It’s located on a farm development with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside with sheep in the adjacent fields and domesticated pigs housed in their own shed and grounds. The property is accessed by a single track road with passing places that takes you through some buitifull unspoilt countryside. We spotted a dear when walking along the track one day. The accommodation was very clean on arrival and the freshly cut flowers and gift of wine and nibbles was very welcoming, The property is accurately described on Sykes and includes all the modern facilities required for a self Catering stay. We will definitely come back sometime next year.
