A superb location and staying in a real castle.
Unlimited access to the theme park a real bonus for the little ones. Great walks nearby as well as some nice restaurants. Close to Ilfracombe and very accessible. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend
We’ve been coming here for years and the updated apartments are lovely.
We had a few minor issues and a couple of bits missing from the kitchen (e.g. scissors) but these were quickly sorted by Richard who is amazing. The dusting isn’t as good as it used to be but it’s an old place so guess that’s ok. Shame you can’t go into the gardens after 4pm as a resident any more - that was part of the appeal. Also shame that the parking isn’t enforced as when someone parks outside the South Court it makes it harder for others to park and turn - we saw one lady having terrible trouble. Welcome scones were a nice touch. Overall great place to stay, shame that most of the penny slot machines have gone but kids will love it - ours always did. Definitely recommended
The accommodation was great, not all the floors were level but we were in a castle!
Thoroughly recommend the stay.
