Rose Cottage

We have just come back from a 4 night stay at Rose Cottage and we were very impressed.

The cottage was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The attention to detail was fab, modern decor with lovely furniture and even the towels were lovely and fluffy, there was a lovely wild garden out the back full of bees and birds which was joyful to sit in and have our morning cuppa. You can tell this cottage is well loved and looked after and we will definitely be back soon

We absolutely loved our family holiday at Rose Cottage.

Fabulous location in the beautiful village of Bishopsteignton. Perfect place to sit & chill on the front patio. The cottage has everything you could need & so comfortable.

This cottage was perfect for our Christmas getaway.

Warm and cosy with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the village was peaceful. We would definitely book again in the future!

A lovely cosy cottage, a lot of thought and consideration from owners with lots of homely touches.

Well equipped to cook a meal. Great shower and comfy bed. Parking wasn’t an issue, always found a space on street or in the little car park just up the road. Disappointed though to find 4 bags of dog poo on the front patio when we arrived, presumably left by previous occupants!

Fabulous cottage with everything you could need.

Wonderfully comfortable beds. Perfect location for peace and quiet, with just a short car journey to Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish.

A beautiful cosy cottage ideal for our family stay over Christmas.

Our family of 5 stayed with our little dog and loved the beautiful decor, good central heating system, electric wood burner and new appliances. The beds were really comfortable and the small back patio ideal for our little dog. The owners even decorated with Christmas decorations for us and the welcome hamper and chocs were much appreciated. The cottage has retained its character but with modern facilities. Although no designated parking we managed to park directly outside. Views of the river from the 2 front bedrooms was stunning We will definitely want to return, possibly in the summer when we can make proper use of the garden and front patio

We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage and didn't want to leave!

It's obvious the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the cottage so it has everything you need, and more! Very comfy beds, and furniture, fluffy towels, welcome treats and beautifully decorated. Also decent speed WiFi and 2 smart TVs. I will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and family.

Cottage was great, however the garden area really needs sorting as we couldn’t use it as was all overgrown not very good for the price we paid, also the tree at the front had a massive growth spurt whilst there which meant we couldn’t use the key safe when leaving as we could not get to it

Beautiful cottage absolutely loved it in every way decor was fabulous bed was extremely comfy and the facilities were perfect .

The house was lovely and welcoming, we had everything we needed there, we even had a little surprise of easter eggs and scones which were very much appreciated and the kids loved it.

The rooms were lovely and beds so comfortable. The location was also great with everything we needed within easy reach, will definitely be back again, you have a beautiful home thank you so much for letting us share a piece of magic.

Immaculate property, decorated nicely.

Had a lovely cottagey/ Christmassy feel. We loved the child gates, high chair and travel cot provided. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent tv packages meant we could watch sky/Netflix etc with ease. Communication was good. Cannot fault except the parking situation which cannot be helped (although was v tricky for us with an 18 month old and me being heavily pregnant). Only other minor thing is that there is a washing machine but no dryer function so it was v hard to dry clothes in the winter. Shouldn’t be a problem in summer months.

A very enjoyable stay with our dog, comfortable furnishings throughout the cottage great shower and smart well equipped kitchen.

We were lucky to have good weather whilst staying here and the beach and town of Teignmouth are just 10 minutes drive away . Would like to return next year with our family.

We had a great time at Rose Cottage, it would have helped to have known that child gates were fitted as we brought our own.

There weren't any instructions for operating any of the appliances immediately obvious. (We found them in a cupboard above the cooker on the last day) perhaps a good idea to leave pack on the table. Use of TV limited by no free view and locked streaming service profiles.
