Another wonderful holiday at Bluebell Cottage.

After three stays it is starting to feel like a second home! The cottage is beautifully decorated and offers plenty of privacy, while at the same time the owners are just around the corner if there is ever a problem. Sarah and Chris are incredibly helpful and kind! I am already looking forward to coming back next year. There is just one small suggestion - not a criticism. I really miss having a coffee machine. For many British guests, a kettle may be all that is needed, but as a mainland European, I am so used to having a coffee machine that I really notice its absence. For me, adding one would turn Bluebell Cottage from almost perfect into perfect: from a 9.5 to a 10!

A wonderful cottage with everything and more catered for!

It is in a lovely location with walks straight from the door. The owners are friendly and really helpful but not intrusive.

Bluebell cottage is probably the best place i have been to with Sykes.

My wife and I and our pooch Diego had the most relaxing stay. The cottage has everything you could ever need and was spotless when we arrived. Sarah and chris are very welcoming and are happy to help with anything you need. Beautiful carrot cake for us on arrival(nice touch) We will definitely be re-booking.

Large garden with a nice elevated sitting area and a beautiful view. Perfectly located for exploring Dartmoor. Owners are very sympathetic. We had a wonderful time here. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect for walks in the National Parc. There is a lot of privacy en een beautifull garden to sit in.

What a lovely spacious & private home from home.

Sarah and Chris are on hand if you need help, but never intrusive & the cottage is completely private. The cottage is beautifully fitted out with everything you could need with bifold doors opening onto the garden. Lots to see & do in the vicinity, with wonderful walks on Dartmoor. Will definitely be back at some point!

How great it was to come back to this wonderful holiday home on the edge of Dartmoor.

It was my second stay here and it won't be the last! I was extremely lucky with the weather and was able to eat outside most evenings. I have also done a lot of walking. The cottage is very homely and comfortable and Sarah and Chris are lovely and helpful owners. I have already booked for next year!

If you are looking for an idyllic setting and beautifully furnished cottage with enclosed garden and great dog walks from the door this is The place!

Myself, my Partner and our Pooch, Harley, stayed over the Christmas period at the lovely Bluebell Cottage.

The directions were perfect as well as knowing that the driveway entrance is narrow, but was no problem for our Corsa. When entering the cottage we were blown away. It was very clean, well kept and just stunning. Being the Christmas period, we loved the extra touch of the Christmas Tree and even a Yule Log. There are walks local without the needs to drive, but there are also so many walks just a 5/10 minutes drive away which was perfect. Harley loved the smells in the garden as well as just looking out to watch the birds feasting. Sarah and Chris were lovely hosts. We very much enjoyed our little conversations when we would bump into each other from our excursions. Thank you for letting us stay in your peaceful cottage to have a stress-free festive week. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely cosy cottage, set in a beautiful quiet valley with a lovely enclosed garden.

Friendly and warm owners who have designed a lovely contemporary cottage with lots of lovely little touches to make this a real home from home. We enjoyed a relaxing and happy week with our Labrador in the wonderful Bluebell Cottage.

My second stay in this beautiful cottage.

Finished to a very high standard and very well equipped. This is such a lovely location for lots of walks from the doorstep, just over an hour to the amazing Eden Project and lots of lovely National Trust sites within easy reach. Perfect for downtime too as it's so tranquil. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back.

Bluebell Cottage is a little piece of Devon heaven.

It was a beautifully clean cottage, and very well equipped. The garden is just lovely and the little hidden decking area was fantastic, with views across to the moors and the sound of the stream at the bottom of the adjoining field. It was just magical to sit and listen to the birds and the stream. The owners, although close by weren't intrusive and were very friendly and helpful. Parking wasn't an issue. The turning into the property was tight but there was space on the lane if needed but we didn't have a problem. We would definitely return to this property.

Exceeded our expectations in every way.

The property was fantastic, everything you could want, plus an amazing garden! Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and Chris, we have already booked to go back later in the year. If you like bird watching the following were just what we saw in the garden Crow, Magpie, Sparrow, Wood Pigeon, Jay, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Green finch, Blue tit, Great tit, Coal tit, Thrush, Lesser spotted woodpecker, Tree creeper, Robin , Wren, Sparrow Hawk. Couldn't recommend more highly

Lovely property, comfortable and well-equipped.

Thoughtful touches included milk and cake on arrival, tea and coffee supplied along with dishwasher tablets. Access to a well-maintained, lawned garden - we were visited by a deer from the woodland bordering the area. Good value for money and Mary Tavy is a good base to explore the region.

Bluebell Cottage is one of the cleanest and well equipped cottages we have stopped in .

The homeowners were really welcoming and really helpful with what ever you needed . They are very approachable . The views and the gardens were very private and extremely nice . The house has a homely feel which we found hard to leave in our days there . If it rained you would find it easy to relax there . The walks are beautiful. The pubs are great as well , good food and good ale and beer

Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful cottage and every bit as lovely as the photos.

From the kitchen and dining area you look across open fields. It was just me and my dog and we found plenty of walks locally in addition to exploring Dartmoor. Sarah is a wonderful host and very helpful. I loved the little touches of fresh daffodils around the house, milk in the fridge and a cake. I definitely want to return.

This has to be the nicest accommodation that I've ever stayed in.

The cottage is immaculate and the decor is fab. Everything I needed was there and the hosts, Sarah and Chris, were extremely welcoming and helpful. There is a large garden for sole use of the occupants of the cottage and the location is very peaceful and relaxing. Lots of walks on your doorstep and plenty more a short drive away. Would definitely recommend to others.

Emaculate, spotless cottage, the owners Sarah and Chris were perfectly charming and very helpful and Peggy and Ruby (the dogs) were very well behaved when we met them.

Myself my husband and the dog spent 4 terrific night at Bluebell cottage over Christmas and it was very relaxing, a perfect place to be to escape the stresses of the festive season. 10/10

The property is in a lovely location with two pubs within walking distance.

The house is absolutely immaculate with a lovely garden. There is everything you could possibly need in a self catering property and the house is very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, if needed and there are lots of walk/information books. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to being able to return.
