    “Beautiful cabin and location.”

    Rachel and Barry made us very welcome with a visit to see if we had settled in and milk, scones, jam and cream. Such a relaxed few days away we did want to leave. Definitely stay again.

Hideaway Cabin welcomes two visitors to enjoy the ultimate romantic break with a studio-style layout, stunning views of the surrounding countryside and a peaceful place to spend quality time with your other half. The cabin, lovingly built on the family farm, is totally self-contained for your own privacy.

Outside you will find a cosy seating area with fire pit to cook on, or simply enjoy during the evening.

There is a designated off-road parking space near the cabin.

Once inside, explore the enchanting interior that features a blend of contemporary and rustic décor with well equipped kitchen and shower room. Relax and unwind with your favourite book while your loved one prepares a tasty treat to be shared at the cosy dining table for two, or venture outside to enjoy an alfresco affair, cooking on the fire pit as the sun sets below the horizon. If you don't want the evening to end, head to one of the nearby country pubs for supper or simply sit outside with a glass of wine and take in the uninterrupted starry skies.

The neat shower room is perfect for freshening up before you retire to the comfort of the full-sized double bed.

When you’re ready to go exploring Cadbury Castle, an Iron-Age Hillfort is just 1.5 miles away, with spectacular views.

The pretty thatched village of Thorverton is just 1.5 miles to the south, the Berry Dairy Village Stores has all the essentials, or try the Exe Valley Farm Shop for lunch and tasty local treats.

The Roman City of Exeter is just 20 minutes away with its impressive Cathedral, historic quayside and a choice of eating out and shopping to suit all tastes.
