Sian & Paul were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, everything was brilliantly thought out as regards being fully equipped for your needs and comfort.

The little fenced off secure garden and large exercise field for our dog was great and he loved every moment. The gardens and surrounding area were beautiful, peaceful ! We will be back, being near to the Cornwall border and Devon there is still so much to discover. Thank you ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay at Jenny Wren with our two Sealyham Terriers.

The owners Sian and Paul were very helpful with their advice on local pubs, restaurants and attractions. The accommodation was just right for us, clean and tidy with an enclosed garden for our dogs. We had an issue with the WiFi but this was resolved really quickly, thank you. We would definitely go back again. Phil & Max

The owners have made a concerted effort to provide a ‘perfect’ cottage for guests and their dogs.

. The enclosed field to run the dogs was a dream.. Also the secure rear garden was very handy for the early morning and late evening dog ablutions.. Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet With fantastic beaches just a short drive away.. Owners were on call if required..but never in the way … Would highly recommend Jenny Wren …a simple tidy clean cottage …for dog owners..

A very comfortable and extremely well equipped cottage located in a beautiful part of Devon, overlooking the Upper Tamar Lake.

Easy access to the north Devon/Cornwall coastline for some wonderful walking. Excellent communication and welcome from owners, Paul and Sian. Dog field was secure and great for early morning exercising. Having stayed in very many holiday cottages over the years, it is rare to find one where everything has been thought of - Jenny Wren ticked all the boxes. Excellent!

The cottage was very clean and cosy modern furniture and very comfortable everything you needed in the kitchen, beautiful views snuggled in the countryside, garden for your dogs everything thought of.

Not often one could not find fault, the property was EXCELLENT, well thought out in every way.

Your own small secure garden an added bonus, if we go back to this area it will be the first place we will try to book my congratulations to the owners on the obvious thought gone into its layout and facilities provided.

A lovely setting with beautiful views. A Quiet setting however, close enough to places of interest and all amenities. A credit to the owners how well the cottage is equipped and maintained

Lovely Cottage , lovely location , Very clean .

Can’t fault anything but would have liked some milk and coffee sachet’s or alike as a welcome, plus a dog bowl in the itinerary with it being dog friendly. But in all great hospitality. Would recommend. Thank you

Ideal for people with dogs - enclosed garden and the lovely enclosed dog field.

There was nothing not to like, the cottage was clean, spacious, and cosy .

The landlords were very welcoming and excellent communication. Our dogs had a wonderful time in the dog field. Would highly recommend this lush little cottage.

What a find "Jenny Wren" was?

! Lovely cottage, lovely owners and a brilliant location. The enclosed garden meant we could have the french doors open and allow our pup to come and go as he pleased. The added bonus was a lovely enclosed dog walking field, just at the back of the farm - such a brilliant idea. The cottage was immaculately clean and everything was catered for. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Very enjoyable stay at Jenny Wren.

Extremely well presented with all the facilities needed. Nice rural location with easy access to major road running though North Devon & Cornwall. Overall highly recommended!

Lovely quiet place to stay and relax.

Had a lovely few days chilling out. Cottage was comfy and had everything we needed. The owners left us eggs from their chickens and some trays for our dogs which was a nice touch

Very welcoming and approachable owners, couldn't be more accommodating.

Hints and tips given regarding local attractions and places to eat etc. were very much appreciated. A real bonus for us was the dog-friendly nature of the accommodation and paddock. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to our friends and family and wouldn't definitely book again should we ever holiday in the same region again.

Fabulous cottage - exactly what we wanted and in a wonderful location.

The property was clean and tidy and dog friendly with an enclosed private garden and a huge fenced in dog field. Great location for visiting Bude, Clovelly and the beautiful beaches on the North Devon and Cornwall coastline.

A warm welcome (in person and with goodies!), a good location for exploring the area and a safe field for the dogs to run around in. Clean, fairly priced and comfortable, with alpacas, pygmy goats, sheep and the friendliest hens we've ever met - what's not to like?

Even though we arrived in the middle of a storm Paul and Sian did everything they could to make sure our visit was as enjoyable as possible including helping us charge our electric car.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

The cottage Was ideal for us and our dog . The paddock for letting the dog run around was very useful.

Lovely cottage, well kitted out with a good quality super king bed and nice furnishings.

Everything you need here inc hairdryer, cafetière and blue ray player. Lovely view of Tamar Lake from the bedroom. Owners onsite are friendly and available to deal with any queries you may have. Great base for beaches, coastal path walking and biking (secure storage for bikes on site). Highly recommend.
