“We chose to stay in this cottage since the family love old, quirky places and this has tons of quirk and character!”
If you prefer modern, immaculate places then look elsewhere. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is, as other reviews have commented, parts of the property looked like they needed a good clean, like the kitchen floor and stairs. It was also missing a spare battery for the smoke alarm which needed replacing, and the recycling / food waste was confusing. Food waste bags were provided but there was no caddy to leave them in, and there was no box marked for plastic recycling.
Overall we enjoyed the holiday and would recommend it.
Thanks.
